“Steps Together” is a personal travel journal of the trips we (Ranjani & Thilak) covered together. Watch video footage of all the beautiful places in and around India, mostly of Karnataka, here in this channel. Please subscribe if you like our effort.
In 1990's Shri Chandikamba Temple at Hulikal was very small on the roadside with deity inside a small (only)room. Lorry drivers used to stop , pray and put some offerings (usually coin) and travel. Now this temple has become big attracting devotees all over. In 1990's Balebare ghat (Hulikal ghat) road was in worst condition with huge pot holes and very narrow. While travelling in a bus branches of tree used to brush the buses at few places in this ghat. During rains , dense fog covered entire road, sometimes drivers had to stop the vehicle and get down to know where the road is ahead especially in curves . Most of private buses running in those days were of Gajanana Motor Transport and Hanuman Motor Transport running between Udupi and Shivamogga, Sagara, Jog and one bus upto Ballari (Bellary). At same time when Sharavathi road bridge at Honnavara was closed for repairs , KSRTC buses coming from Dharwad/Hubballi were allowed to use Hulikal route to reach Udupi/Mangaluru.
I have always loved your videos and there are very few people that I am still following on RU-vid, and your channel is one too and I never miss your videos, what you started with has still remained the same to the core, of course the videos have been fine tuned now, but the core has remained the same, always a bliss to watch your videos, and to watch your videos on a rainy evening like today with a cup of tea is heaven😊😊
