Shoreham Airports longest established Flight Training Organisation, since that time we have,
• Received the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association(AOPA) Customer Care Award • Trained more Pilots and sent more Students solo than any other organisation at Shoreham • Have flown over 10,000 Trial Lesson /Air Experience Flights
Your first solo is the only chance you get to experience the combination of pleasure and shear terror of flying the aircraft alone for the first time. A memory which will stay with you for the rest of your life.
So well done:) I just had my first lesson at the age of 49, I hope I get to the stage of being confident enough to fly solo, you did so amazingly well.
Beth , you remind me of a RU-vidr named Sina Doering . She is a drummer.. Sina- Drums…Actually you look more like her younger sister Milena. This is based on your photo at the end of your video. I know this has nothing to do with flying but I’m 63 and have been flying since 1993. Never Ever will I ever forget my first solo… Sweet Landing girl…You did awesome on your solo . Congrats ❤️
Congratulations Beth. Well done. I really liked the way you memorised all of your check-lists so tungsten you weren't distracted by reading a written check- list that many American student pilots use. You executed each section of the pattern well as far as I could see. I think you'll go far in aviation. Are you in England? I'm an Australian pilot who was also disciplined by my instructor in 1972 to memorise check-lists. I can still recite them today after not having flown for many years. Best wishes and keep your eyes in the skies.
