Fellow reactors and I have theories about the TRAP trailer: In the World of M. Night could mean that this is connected to another movie or a character from another film will be important and make an appearance (Haley Joel Osment from The Sixth Sense? who is now either a detective helping the police or a psychic on loan perhaps?) Another Haley is in the film that is (Mills) from the original The Parent "Trap" who played identical twins that were separated and reunited (Is this a theme of the film but in the psychological sense?) M. Night has a daughter singing playing Lady "Raven" and the raven's name could allude to Edgar Allan Poe's work which was about madness. There is a marquee shot of The Watchers which is M. Night's other daughter Ishana's upcoming film. If this is about the father/daughter dynamic, is it the inverse of mother/son which we saw in Psycho? A quote: We are all in our private "traps" and none of us can get out. We scratch and claw and never budge and inch. (Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates who was both himself and his mother). Is Josh both himself and his daughter in his mind? Perhaps he did go to a concert with her, left her, and she disappeared. The Butcher is either a real or imagined killer and everything could be in his mind. If his daughter was killed, he could be psychologically broken and mixing different good and bad memories together in the trailer. In the final scene where he is talking to Jaime, his face cracks much like Norman Bates does in Psycho. Could it be when he says: "Sorry Sorry" to his daughter in the parking lot he is really apologizing for not protecting her? Before he leaves for the restroom, he gives her a long look like he knows he will not see her again. This trailer needs to be watched multiple times for interpretations..
the fact that you make it like you thought Tyrone Magnus was gonna have any sort of a positive reaction to a "woke Disney" movie says tons. He already has his mind made up before pressing play. I like honest reactions, be they negative or positive. You do you. But react WHILE or AFTER ACTUALLY watching the trailer. Hopefully you never become anything LIKE that, but the pre-judging the trailers every time before you hit play sure is starting to sound alot like him.
Even if you hate the mcu, the Deadpool movies were a breath of fresh air, cinematically. The marvel movies just went full on serious face and political garbage. I mean, I absolutely refuse to watch any of the latest M-She-U junk they’ve released the last few years. But Deadpool movies are always special since Ryan Reynolds has a large degree of control of the scripts. I say give it a chance. The worse thing that can happen is you’re (again) disappointed with it.
While traditionally I am right there with you. 100%......but I just give this a....pass.....because you KNOW it wouldn't be happening if it wasn't such a true passion project for Ryan Reynolds.
I don't like the continued multiverse stories just for the sake of all the potential actors playing the same character. Because even with Hugh playing Logan in this movie and Kelsey Grammar playing Beast in the marvels, I don't want them in the X-Men of the MCU. But I know that Hugh and Ryan Reynolds both chose to do this movie and it does have some scenes and characters I would be interested to see. Cassandra Nova, Deathstrike (again), The Russian, the (giant) skull of a dead Ant-Man which is ripped straight from Old Man Logan and it's great. Just hope the humor isn't tryhardy. And that the mask, if/when we see it, is practical. I don't want to watch another 'Love & Thunder
Let the bias affect away, this trailer is🔥 Josh Hartnett is giving the right amount of good dad/menace juxtaposition and August can’t not come soon enough 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😎
I understand why people would be hesitant... You never really know. Then again, I'm hopeful 🤓 What if the father isn't the killer st all? He just trapped him but then discovers that the man he caught .... isn't the butcher either! 😳 We can all laugh when I'm wrong!😂🇬🇧
I am hesitant as well. Knock at the Cabin was good until they explained everything that just happened at the very end. Haven't seen Old yet. I like Hartnett being in movies again, but I hope I don't get Shyamalan'd again.
@@beardsandblockbusters I noticed with the new Road House, Gyllenhaal didn't try to be like or top Swayze. He simply took the premise into a different direction. Bill may try something similar. Here's hoping they don't change...TOO MUCH tho.

What’s up man! I filmed and edited my reaction in multiple different ways. Every time I try and upload, RU-vid partially blocks visibility. I thought the trailer looked so good! I subscribed and will also be checking out some of your other horror shorts as well. Keep doing your thing, guys! You got a talented team!
@@beardsandblockbusters Oh, because of the music. Don’t worry, it won’t give you any sort of strikes, therefore it won’t affect your channel. We’d love to check out your reaction, and share!
I don't think Thinking of it as a 'musical', in the traditional sense (ie La-La Land or Sound of Music), is going to be accurate for the movie. My take, from watching this trailer, is that the music will some how will be a part of his delusions, he way of coping kind of thing, not necessarily the characters breaking out in singing and dancing like you would find in a traditional 'Musical'....
not a fan of lady gaga but after seeing the teaser trailer, i can say she's perfect as harley quinn. with a single look of her she looks very scary, and i think that's what a real life harley quinn is all about
I'm also in the mindset of this not needing a sequel, but if it's done well I won't complain. Regardless of the story or acting, I know it's gonna be beautifully shot.
Definitely hooked on this one. Like you said the cast, 80s aesthetic, all the vibes are there. And Kevin Bacon is good. My favorite role of his is Sebastian Shaw in X-Men: First Class.
Yes, Clancy Brown is Maroni. I was waiting for you to say it lol. I'm very excited for it. I like seeing/hearing him in stuff. I love how it had similar shots as The Batman. The atmosphere is great. Hopefully, we get more Gotham life.
The continuity of the tone and aesthetic was arguably most crucial. Didn’t want them to branch too far off from the world they began building. Excited to see more of the underbelly of Gotham crime
@@beardsandblockbustersNtm Maroni's the one who throws acid in Harvey Dent's face making him Two-Face. We don't know if Maroni is gonna be on trial or already in jail, but the chance is there
