I've come around to it. Skarsgaard looks really cool. You know I've loved Huston since 30 days of night. It all just looks like a solid movie. Didn't really pick up on the blood before you said something and I watched the trailer again. I'm mucho excited for it
Bill skarsgard is also a huge fan of brandon lees crow It is the reason he took the role Director said it is more of a modern retelling reimagine of the story that also is meant to make younger audience go back watch the orignal movie and read the graphic novel Lil peeps music and vibe fits the crow story kinda also

This is HORRIBLE!!!!! I tried to not watch the trailer and even though I feel Bill would pull it off much better than the other suggestions for the remake I have seen through out the years. I absolutely DO NOT like the look of the new look. The appearance alone has ruined it. But they will make money on it because people will want to reluctantly see it to compare it and by then, the film makers will be happy with its attendance. But I won't see it till its on a streaming channel or where I don't have to pay to see it outright. The trailer is extremely disappointing. It hurts my heart. This is nothing more than a vigilante movie who has supernatural powers. Bill does not have the charisma needed to pull this off. There is too much color. The Gotham City appearance and shadow work like with the original is not there. Even the Crow 2 had better cinema elements for viewing pleasure than this new thing. I really like Bill but this has been ruined. The original had a hard anti-drugs message. The new one casts Eric & Shelly as junkies who escape rehab, go on a drug binge & are eventually murdered. That tells you everything you need to know about what's wrong with the new film. For this remake to turn Eric 180-degrees on that mark is tantamount to blasphemy. The more and more I look at this, the more and more I dislike it. I have a feeling they will ruin the soundtrack too. I saw the original movie 15 times in the theater...I won't even see this one once. If anything, they should have made a movie based on the female character O'Barr wrote about in the same light - not a abhorrent remake of the original cult classic. I'm happy that all of the comments I have been reading are about 80-90% negative.....as I expected they would be.
While everything you’re saying is valid and I resoect your opinion, I don’t think you should be happy about the negative comments. With the director and Bill both being fans of the original and the appearance creeping closer to the aesthetic from the comics, I think this film will still find its place among the fandom. It’s also only 2 minutes of footage removed from the context of a two hour film. Thanks for the comment and the view, my man. It’s always appreciated.
Dude I totally agree with you. This trailer was way more better than I thought it was going to be. I used to be a Crow fanatic in my teenage years. I hope the movie lives up to the trailer. I wonder what 90s movie character Bill Skarsgard will play next.
This movie could be good….. BUT, the trailer makes not look so good! The vibe is off. Music alone is messing it up. His look doesn’t have the crow look. That’s a big deal. Also… and I am judging based off the trailer.. This doesn’t give out tragedy vibes or gothic vibes. This looks like island boy vibes
I think this will absolutely SMOKE bad boys 2 on release day. I saw the first crow in the theaters when it came out. Loved it. This is not that film and shouldnt be compared to it. It is an adaptation of the Obarr comic series. Frankly this trailer alone body bags all of the crow sequels minus City Of Angels because it is the only good Crow sequel there is. The rest were absolute trash. This is well produced versus what? That Edward Furlong trash. Moody ass artsy garbage. This deserves to be seen and in honor of Brandon Lee I will go see it. I think he would have been okay with this. I would rather have this versus another garbage sequel.
@@beardsandblockbusters I noticed with the new Road House, Gyllenhaal didn't try to be like or top Swayze. He simply took the premise into a different direction. Bill may try something similar. Here's hoping they don't change...TOO MUCH tho.
