Got a similar problem in Newport just thay will take pike,purch,roch tench, rud in a nut shell anything that bites makes it worse thay are flote fishing on maggots so there just pulling them out

Lads when you come up to Retford dont go where the ginger fihserman fishes let me know and I will put you on proper fish. There are so many good waters in the area. My best pike last winter were 24 and 28lb. Love you vids tho lads!!!
as a carp fisherman I would rather walk along a river and use some skill to catch a carp. Lakes are boring and there is no skill involved just being sat watching other anglers pick their noses. !!! 😂
Went the wrong side of Leeds should have parked at royal armouries then fished down towards thwaites mill/knosdrop area on the aire and Calder navigation I've had doubles out of there plenty of times.
These waters are heavily overfished.People literally spend days catching pike and selling it to a local distibutor although its not allowed and there is a bag limit of 5 pike per day.Sad.The amount of pike caught there is enormous.

I caught a barbel once tom I was packing up and had my rod just in the margins with a piece of luncheon meat with paprika and cayenne pepper coating. 7lb barbel…..and I landed it 😎. Seriously though lads try luncheon meat with paprika and cayenne pepper carp and barbel go mad for it 💪👌 🎣
Uk is literally the worst fishing with the most trash species in the world . Doesn't matter if your in fresh or salt , thank God I don't have to fish there.
Boys ya stole my idea haha. I fish my local canal all the time of a night. Ya don't even need a rod at times just a torch an a big net. I'm yet to catch a pike during the day. I've caught two tench in one go camping for fish goy evidence of it too. What canal is this yas are fishing on?
