Hey guys! Welcome back to Sissy Spaces and if you’re new welcome. After 35 years in the workforce, I retired and spent a year trying to the decide what I enjoyed doing. After trying many hobbies, such as bowling, golfing, archery, etc., I realized I’m happiest when cleaning and taking care of my family. After sharing cleaning and homemaking tips with family and friends, they suggested, I start a RU-vid channel, so here I am. I plan to post weekly, on Sundays, at 12pm but at times, may post, biweekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. Again, welcome to Sissy Spaces and thank you for being here.
Thank you Tori and I absolutely love your channel content as well. We’re also thinking of building a pool and I may pick your brain, later in the year, when we start.
You sure are getting things looking amazing at your house. I love your fall decor and fall is my favorite time to decorate. Although here in south Texas it is still so hot that I will not decorate usually till mid September or sometimes the end of September. This year I may wait longer. Hurricane repairs have still not been started. Contractors are hard to come by with so many in need of repairs. I’m on the list but he said they probably wouldn’t start for a couple more weeks so I don’t think things will be finished till maybe October. By that time I’m not sure I want to put up fall because I usually put Christmas up about mid November. We’ll see what happens I trust the Lord‘s timing. Love in Christ
Hi Donna and thanks for returning to watch. I’m so happy to hear you liked the decor. I was very nervous but also excited to decorate for Fall because I hadn’t done it before. I pray you will get repairs done in a timely manner. It’s no fun living in a construction zone…believe I know. Wow Charlene, what a content packed video! You outdid yourself on this one, my friend. The mouldings are great and really will add to the overall look of your home. Now, lets talk about your Fall decor. It is absolutely stunning. Just the right amount on each venue. You can look at the whole scape at one time because you kept it airy and did not cram it full. Lord knows Sissy, I wish I had your energy. Cronic anemia takes care of that for me. Your videos give me a half hour of total relaxation and forgetting about everything else. Thank you! Hi Carol and thanks for returning to watch. I have been exhausted physically and mentally over the past two weeks and decided to take today off to sleep in and visit mom. But tomorrow, I’m at it again cleaning several rooms and the stairs because they’re filthy, so please return Sunday for some deep cleaning motivation. Also, we had to kennel Max for a few days because his anxiety, with all the construction, became too much for him to handle. He is back home, as of Friday, and, of course, back to his old self.

Another great video. 👍Question, what would you suggest washing with a rug? I don't have another rug to wash with it. And I don't think washing clothes (I.e jeans) would be a good idea.
Thanks Charlene for watching. I have washable rugs by my back and garage door. I wash them with my for baby’s crate liner and his dog towels on the sanitize cycle. I suggest you read the instructions before washing which will help you to decide what you want to wash it with.
I'm new to your channel and I'm really enjoying it, except one thing, your voice drives me nuts. That can't be your normal voice, If you just spoke the way you normally speak, I think your video's would sound alot better. But except for the video voice you use , I am loving your video's
I just love all of the stems, pillow covers, vases and those witches hats are so cute!!! I can’t wait to see your fall decorating. Not quite ready for summer to be over but it is soon going to be! I am also looking forward to seeing your DIY project! It will be gorgeous.. oh my gosh, do I ever love all the tile and everything you showed for your bathroom!! I am excited to see everything!! Can you believe that our sweet little puppies are almost 7 weeks old? At 8 weeks they will go to their forever homes. My oldest daughter and her family are getting one of the sable Merle males. Hi Patricia…unfortunately RU-vid will not share a video of me doing my hair but I’ll try to fit it in somewhere in a cleaning video. I'm in the midst of watching your video, and a random thought came to me. I wish you were my neighbor. We'd get along so well! I'd call you and say, "I'm heading to Costco, Sissy. Do you need anything?" Or I'd text you to say hello to check on you and the family. It's so funny how some people on social media feel like they could be your friends even when you don't know them at all.
Wow! I would love that. We do have a great community but we don’t check on each other enough. At our next HOA meeting, I’m going to bring this up. Thank you.
@Sissyspaces11 That's a great idea! My main clients are HOAs and condos, and a lot of them have a Wellness Committee or something similar whose goal is to have a group that welcomes new residents; check on existing residents; or create a pool of people who are willing to help the elderly or vulnerable in the community with errands, etc.
