Late again as usual but at least I'm on the same day today. The desks came out great, I really like the lighter color. Are you staying cool in this stinkin hot weather? It's killing me and for some reason the mosquitoes are horrible this year. I stay in as much as possible. How's mom? Doing well I hope as well as your husband, boys and of course Max. Have a wonderful visit with your sister, and by the way, watching someone dust is never boring to me. It's very calming. Stay safe and cool. Looking forward to next Sunday. See you then.

Hi Charleen, another great video. I sure enjoyed watching you and really get motivated. I live on the Texas live coast and we’re waiting landfall from the storm in the gulf . live 60 miles south of Houston. and close to Galveston. I have been through this many times but it’s no fun. I do have a system that makes things easier. At the beginning of hurricane season I line my freezer with trash bags and then put the food in there. That way when the power is out for a long time and your food is ruined you can just tie a trash bag and throw it away. I learned this the hard way. I have many more tricks that I have learned along the years.No matter how small the hurricane is there is always a long period of time with no power which is miserable in this heat.. Praying that this isn’t too bad but you never know. My trust in the Lord. Love in his name

Hey Charlene, I love the decor changes. The furniture flip is going to be amazing. Just these first steps made a huge difference! For the fourth, my son grilled burgers, hot dogs and smoked some chicken. He made his famous baked beans ( yum). They are awesome, and daughter in-law made pasta salad. Then the obligatory fire works after dark for " my little termites". So excited to see the bathroom remodel. Have a great week, my best to your mom. See ya next week!

Your guest bedroom looks so warm and inviting! And I love the decor.. I’m sure that all of your guests thoroughly enjoy their stay. Thanks for the heads up on the generic swiffer dry mops. I was wondering…. That chicken your hubby grilled looked amazing! I am doing that as well as corn on the cob on the grill tonight. Yum! The puppies are now a week old and are doing so well. I had no idea oven cleaner could strip paint. Did you use regular or fume free since I see you’re not masked up. In the past I used a gel that lifted off paint and stain. I also refinished a few pieces in natural wood, I love that look. Great video. Huge hugs to precious Max💕🐾🐾

Hi Robin, I use fumed free. The desk were stained so I stripped the stain off with oven cleaner and also sanded them. I wanted the raw wood look and that’s what I got. I still need to finish sanding the legs on the larger desk though. Thank you and thanks for watching. See you Sunday.
