This looks very useful. For a senior karateka it would be helpful to see your compinations in writing. (I’d print them as a list so it would be easier for me to follow your workout.

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you find the training useful. For the video "Full Kumite Series - Training #16," you'll find the techniques for the 15 rounds in the video description. Feel free to print them out to follow along more easily. In the upcoming training sessions from the Full Kumite Series, I will also include the techniques in the video descriptions. Good luck with your training!

Why does he faint a sweep or something before every mawashigeri? Like the idea of solo drills like this and it could be made as a partner session too.
@KarateFitTraining
@KarateFitTraining Месяц назад
That’s because I perform the Mawashi Geri by first pulling the back leg forward, lifting the knee in front, and keeping the hips straight. Only then do I rotate the hips and the supporting leg. The Mawashi Geri is also executed with the hips initially turned outward, and the leg is rotated in a circular motion from the outside inward. We learned this technique for a crucial reason: When you pull the knee straight forward first, the opponent recognizes the move later, as the knee is closer to the body and not visible from the side. This allows you to react quickly from this position and choose various techniques: a straight punch, Mae Geri, Mawashi Geri, or even a Ura Mawashi Geri to the other side. This method offers more flexibility and surprise in combat. I’m glad you like the solo drills. They can definitely be adapted for partner sessions too!

That is incredibly amazing. The main point I can understand here is that before getting into the intense both front and straight punch or some other high intensity movement in kumite you will consistently have to warm them up or otherwise you are not going to perform at the very best. 👍👍👍🎯🎯

Why not guaku tzuki ? Why do you thing you have to sacrifice your stance
@KarateFitTraining
@KarateFitTraining Год назад
Thank you for your comment! I apologize for the delayed response, as I only came across your comment now. To answer your question, yes, Oi Zuki can be a very effective technique when executed correctly. There are many different techniques and styles in karate, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. It's important to understand that there isn't always just one 'right' technique, but rather different techniques can be applied in different situations. Of course, there are also other techniques like Guaku Tzuki that can be equally effective. It all depends on the situation.
