I practiced manual on my dads 2014 Subaru wrx sti, and I haven’t been driving as of lately but I’m buying my brothers 108k mile 2003 350z. Getting it shipped from WA state to FL and I’m hella nervous to drive it haha! I’m still a beginner so let’s hope everything goes in my favor and I don’t mess anything up lol. I know for sure ima baby the car
Bought my ISF in October of 2020 and paid $15.5k. Went Tuned FBO and catless over that time and I will never get rid of this car, It had 112k miles on it when I bought it and now it has about 157k. It has never left me stranded or stuck and it still putting down 430whp. Best car I have ever owned and it doesn't really leave me wanting more. If I ever do though, I'll boost it or throw a 150 shot on it.
I didn't watch the entire video but have owned my '18 for over 3 years. These cars are fantastic. I have only 3 criticisms. The infotainment was dated in 2013, let alone 2020 (when the series ended in the US). Adding carplay is possible, but you still need to use the puck which is less than optimal. The cup holder blocks the seat controls (which are auto, so I never adjust them). Finally, the rear seat room is smaller than expected. I am 6'2" and my kids dont have a lot of wiggle room. I put around 20k on my car a year. It is STILL just as tight and performant as it was when I purchased it.
Down grade, you’ll regret it. I had a g35 it was my dream car, luxury 300hp manual car what else can you ask for, it’s low quality and makes a lot of noise
I’d disagree the Z is way more fun to drive and handles better! There is also way more aftermarket support and it’s I a bit cheaper to maintain vs. a Lexus. I also bought my specific car for a great deal so if I sell it, I’ll make some decent money off of it! I think the F is a better built/reliable, faster car but it doesn’t have the history the Z has. The F Is a sleeper sedan which is cool but I’d be lying if I told you I get more compliments when I drove my F vs. when I drive my Z…
May be more fun to drive but I’d rather not be associated with every teenager that buys a g or z and with the uniqueness and value of isf going up and up I’d say it’s a downgrade. But you are you and no one else can tell you if you’re happy. So you do you man.
Got to agree with you man manual cars are way more fun to drive. Also personal opinion i think the z looks so much better than the isf. I'd say this is an upgrade overall personally.
I just bought a 350Z 2 months ago. I am in love. 04, manual. I smile every time I drive it. I have driven very conservatively and can get 25 mpg city if I keep my revs below 3 grand. It is not easy to do though! You want to scream down the road in this thing!
