Thank you so much, Brenda! My mother is rather fond of yellow roses (being from Texas and all), so I think I shall whip up some of these for her! I don't have any sport weight scraps around, but have some DK and will try this with a smaller hook to make up the difference. Happy Mother's Day to you and all the moms at Craftsy!
I've been looking for a tutorial like this. I can make the flower part but I wasn't sure about making the square rounds. I can't wait to see the whole thing. Thanks for making this highlight.
I didn't find your tutorial until I had completed two cowels and am now ready to apply the leaves and flowers 😊 I struggled with the leaf but finally got it. Wish I'd found you a few days earlier...
great tip on the plastic "paper" - I'm also thinking if someone recycled bags that contained food, then dogs or other pets would try to get at the item, because they smelled the remnants of food inside.
Great question! The 'Ask an Expert' program is currently for paid members. To submit your question, please do so here: www.creativecrochetcorner.com/contact/
Thank you you are right, a basic tool is a yarn needle needed in your crocheting hobby, this so that you can finish the product so the tails don't hang out you are just poking through with the yarn needle. Have a great day!
I really appreciate you showing how to do this . I've struggled with trying to wind a centre pull ball according to directions I read years ago but it was hit and miss {mostly miss) whether it worked or not. Can't wait to try this and I'm looking forward to my next yarn barf! 🤣
Thank you for your feedback. I have forwarded your comment to the proper department. We value your opinion, and it will help with the development of our online streaming community. We will continue to listen and work hard for your complete satisfaction.

Hi I love the stocking and I did it with an acrylic yarn but it turned out super small and I tried adding a couple more cable crossing but when it was time to decrease it didn’t come out right 😢 can you tell me how to decrease the stitches when the crossings are increased? I would really appreciate it thank you so much love your video blessing 🌹
I really like this method. I've seen zipper pouches that I've wanted to make but I didn't want to invest in a circular fabric cutter/puncher tool. Excited to try this. Thank you!
Can you show us how to make a protective pouch holder for a 4.5”x2.75”x0.75” timer? My cousin is a teacher and she struggles with keeping her timer on accessible and on her person and kids get ahold of it and man handle it, so I thought a protective pouch would be a cute and unique solution. Thank you! Love what you do and how you do it ❤
Oh man. I need you to zoom in with 4K, bc the video is in 720 and I cannot see where the extended single crochet stitch is you’re talking about after showing how to cross the cables(the second row-the row immediately following the ‘set up’ row). It’s helpful if you give more detailed verbal cues like the next stitch is an extended crochet to the right of or in between, something like that. I don’t have the inclination to learn crochet charts or symbols so all of this was frustratingly confusing. Especially after i allowed your site to list and sell my email address and did not get the “free” pattern bc the site asks me to pay something like $82 for a year long membership……..😶😑😶
That was so very helpful! Thank you very much. The combination of the video and .PDF made it easier to follow along. I adapted it for a Halloween gnome that my husband wanted, and just with whatever yarn I already had. Thanks again!
Hello, I like your project and I just happen to have a photo I need a frame for. But my picture is bigger than yours so what is the multiple count of stitches around the cardboard if I need to make a bigger frame? 😊
