13:55 so it’s suppose to have that big gap when closed? Say you decided to use 2 masters. One with the standard blade on it and one with the phat master blade. Will they blend into each other? Even though the phat master has that big gap?
Beast!👍😎 But i'm waiting for the 3/4drive version. That thing did it that easy with the adapter torque loss and there is likely some torque loss from the 1/2 anvil flexing. 3/4 version should be even stronger.
How do you change something that’s not broken. People use the purple, magnetic guards and all the clippers. We do modifications to put these purple. Magnetic guards on all clippers. Now they have this Wahl style zero guard. It’s rounded on the edges which is terrible. The old one has the pointy edges, which lifts the hair up and makes, fading and more importantly detailing way better
was thinking to get the babyliss today, ive been using wahl cord n cordless so i wna try to change other brand even tho i like wahl eversince..after this video ill jst upgrade my magic clip to senior

Barber of 15 years here. A lot of people are complaining about this 0 (zero) guard being low quality and the teeth being rounded..etc. Be aware- there are 2 number 0 purple (double magnet) guards out there. The pointy teeth version blends great on tight/nappier hair(ie, Black people hair) and the rounded teeth version blends great on thin/stringy hair(ie, White people/Asian). Do what I did and just keep a few sets of both on hand at all times- you WON'T regret it. You're welcome!
.5 andis guard i feel is for people who like to skip the 1 guard and blend into a 1.5 guard. You can blend into the .5 and the .5 blends into the 1.5 pretty easily also
Love this review. Iv'e been a registered barber since 1986. Was online looking for this particular older guard and came across this video. Everything you've said about the guard is true. I hope that I can find it somewhere. Will try not to buy all of them. Hopefully Andis will resume making older guard.
