We used to tease our cousin Oscar by replacing the word "Doctor" with "Oscar"... Sadly, he passed away on June 15 at age 56...two days after his birthday. We miss him terribly
i really didn't care too much for the new wave techno groups of the early to mid-80s w all their androgynous looks & dress codes, but i must admit they never left talent out of their music regardless of their appearance. it's something that today's youngsters of blue-eyed soul wannabes would do well to learn from.
I was sitting at my desk at work, headphones in and playing this song. It got to the part where he elongates "my phones on vi....................................brate" and I sang that part. Looked up from my screen and some laughed, some looked confused and some worried. But I do not care as it felt like a moment of catharsis I needed due many personal reasons. Lovely song and lovely singer.
This is the video that helped me find the name of this song all those years ago… man I hope they release the cursed child a movie (with heavy revisions please), the Harry Potter saga still is my favorite movie series of all time. I love the poster so much, something about it is so nostalgic.
So mind flippy! brings back memories of favoring 80’s classic rock & then hearing this stuff, thinking- ( If my date likes it then ok cool whatever robotic beat fine ... lol
