Gosh I miss seeing Rick and the Professor at all the clubs around NY area (the best being with Blondie Chaplin and Randy at the Bottom Line). Had a great time at Woodstock theatre seeing just the Crowmatix. Even saw them at a bookstore in White Plains. I miss the frequent opening of "Twilight" and the blast off groove of "Crazy Mama". Well, I know you were here in the Carolinas about 3 years ago-need you guys to come back.
Love the feel, great groove from the entire band. What is that big ole' wood box behind the sax? That's not a Leslie is it? Can't tell, but I don't see a Hammond, so not sure.
Lou, That is a Leslie 145 with a 147 Amp..It is connected to a junction box that converts a 1/4 ' plug to a Leslie wire so the electronic Keyboard can be played through the Leslie..Thanks for asking
I have always loved the original Band version; it has been my favorite Band song; thats saying a lot a with songs like The Weight, Stage fright, and so many others! IS IT POSSIBLE?! I can't stop listening to this; could it even be better than The Bands original? This is amazingly beautiful
Always nice hearing from the Professor, Miss Marie and the gang. Use to check them out a lot in various NY spots ( that night at Bottom Line w/ Blondie Chaplin) was awesome!).
Nick Driscoll / Tenor Sax - Jim Buckley / Bari Sax - Chuck Smith / Trombone - Danny Coyle / Trumpet.. Thank you for listening and taking the interest... PL&C
