Astralis are in F+ for me, spending almost as much as falcons and failing to qualify for the major puts them in the same tier, especially if you consider the buyout paid for Stabbi. More comparable with falcons than BIG imo
feel like you should take peak more into consideration, donk mightve been big for like half a year but his streams are honestly s1mple level just because people want to see him play and i think youre underplaying shorts (and tiktok)
For some perspective on the people hating on thr shroud glazing… I never played CSGO, never even paid attention to it. HAD NO CLUE who KennyS was or even s1mple. I did know who shroud was. I discovered that he played CSGO and was on Cloud9 AFTER I started playing CS2. I thought he was just cracked at fps games and streamed. So yeah he is a household name and has huge cultural impact. Same with summit. Also scream does not belong in S+

Shroud is the most overrated player in the world (I know this is about their cultural impact). He is so glazed by casual fans that don't know shit about the competitive game. Shroud literally had 0.85-0.9 against top tier opposition. He is by far a mediocre pro player, but as pugger to play against noobs he is fine
Lol if Shroud is S tier then this is just a cultral impact list, not a CS cultural impact list. He hates the game and is probably more known for pubg than anything he did in CS
Not to be a glazer here, but someone I think should get a shoutout is Mixwell - biggest talent out of Spain at the time and brought a lot of Spanish fans with him to OpTic over his time there. Not some amazingly massive cultural impact, but I think it's worth noting.
Mauisnake pls don't read the opinions about your opinions, they aren't relevant and your genuine audience are here for your takes, much love from Scotland ❤
Man, I don't care about the rest, but not auto-putting GeT_RiGhT in "S" is just criminal. I knew of him about 3-4 years BEFORE starting to watch any CS at all (started around 2015). You said it yourself - an entire style of play invented. Countless frag videos. Consistently involved in the scene still. Very famous outside of the game. The only explanation would be your age, tbh. For real.
I loved Get_Rights question at the end about CS RU-vidr impact, as I’d love to see where Warowl would be placed. As someone who started playing CS in summer 2015, I know he had a huge impact at the time for people getting into and learning the basics of CS!
Tarik and Shroud def need to be moved down. Their contributions in Counter-Strike don't push them to S+ tier at all. Fallen and Stewie def need to be above both of them, Fallen IS Brazil CS and Stewie IS NA CS
What has Maui got against f0rest? Universally loved and respected by the whole scene. Widely regarded as one of the best CS players of all time across all versions. Your favorite player's favorite player (s1mple). To have pimp/allu/booml4/snax/JW/fiberg above him is so weird.
Defining cultural impact as something not pertaining to the realm of CS kinda seems pointless. Imo the impact should be in reference to our community and the CS culture we have witnessed and experienced.
I’m with Maui on Shroud’s impact. I’m from Poland and I hear people my age (millennials) absolutely glazing him and putting him next to Simple and Kennys
