Hi there and welcome aboard to the Mystic Sword Gaming channel. :) I'm Don; a Gamer, 3D Artist and Indie Game Developer.
My main focus for this channel will be for gaming videos on "Play-Through / Let's Play", some live-streaming (I've been getting into streaming Grand Theft Auto 5 Roleplay sessions) and occasionally I may also post vids of other types (tutorials, relaxing, remastered vintage videos, etc...).
Playing a game, I tend to put myself into the role of the protagonist. When I do gaming videos, I may present it in a story-telling manner, or as if you and I are sharing the experience together. It's my hope that through my videos I can bring some entertainment, happiness and positivity into the lives of others.
Thanks for your kind interest and support. Best wishes. ~ Don ~
Hello my friend it been away hope you are doing well..Where are you displaying your magnificent art would love to see it ..let me know please..I miss Sabby and the girls.
Life's been difficult for a while and I'm keeping busy. I plan to get back to making more vids for my RU-vid channel soon. I've still been making new art when I can. For the last few years I've been using Deviant Art as the main platform for my art. You can see lots of my art there at: www.deviantart.com/mystix3d (some of the more 'spicy' art is in subscription tiers though).
I'm trying to use this to change the character graphic & lock direction when on ladders (I have a system that does an animation when direction is changed, and this plays even on ladders plus I want a dedicated ladder climbing animation). So I set ladders to region 1, put a common event tied to a "gamestart" switch that has a conditional branch for that region in which it changes the character graphic and locks the direction, then on the "else" part I make it undo the directional lock and put the original character graphic back. When I play the game, my character is immediately locked in place and can't move. I don't know why. Also the demo link is dead.
It's been so long since I've used RPG Maker, that I'd need to re-learn a lot about using it, so I don't know about the issue you mention and without seeing your project, I'd only be guessing. In the meantime, I did find a copy of the tutorial-demo and uploaded it to my Google-drive (see the link in the video's Description), so you could download it and take a look at it. Good luck.
Thank you so much!😊 I was given a Union & Scale™ FlexFit™ Dexley Ergonomic Mesh Swivel Task Chair and it had this exact problem. Now I know the name of the part I cound not remove, end clip and how to keep the chair from sinking.
very cool tutorials, I never dabbled in Daz3D. I still have Blender and Adobe Premier to learn on my bucket list. Daz seems like a cool program though.
Thanks! 😃 I figured I'd make some tutorials about using the 3D art software I use, DAZ Studio. Hopefully it can be of interest and help to some. It could also give a behind-the-scenes look at some of what's involved in creating 3D artwork in DAZ, plus it's more content for my RU-vid channel here too. Cheers!
Thanks for the kind interest. I tried looking through some old drives to hopefully find a backup of this mod, but so far no luck. It could be on an old computer I have. If I do find it, then I'd upload it and then put the link in the description.
@DARIVSARCHITECTVS : I managed to find a back-up of this mod. As I don't currently have Skyrim installed (and probably won't plan to for a while), I've not yet tested this backup file, but it should be the last version I worked on (looking at the txt file, it appears to be) and hopefully it still works. You can find the download link in the video's Description. Let me know if you manage to get it installed and if it seems to work ok for you. Hope you have fun with it and it gives some laughs. Cheers! :)
Hiya Bbbbuuubbs! Yeah, life's been keeping me down and then RU-vid demonitized my channel here about 3 months ago without warning. So, I haven't been making new vids really this last couple of months. Might get back into sometime. Hope you're doing well. Cheers!
Hey. My problem is that a saved while trying something out. Now even when i delete the save from the files it keeps generate when i open the game. And the download from the save file script is no longer available :(
I found the script on my computer and have uploaded to my Google-Drive where you can get it at: drive.google.com/file/d/1x1gpdfEzR79wLitjJF9WGUx_iOo123dL/view?usp=sharing Good luck.
I also have a Hyperkin Ranger, along with a bunch of other controllers. I find that some games work better with some controllers than others. For example I was playing 7800 Ms Pacman on my 2600+, and after trying a few controllers I found a Hyperkin Trooper worked great. Other controllers might feel too stiff or too loose, depending on the controller and the particular game.
Thanks for watching and the comment, and I agree with what you say. For the Atari 2600 games I've tried playing so far with the Ranger controller, it feels great to use and seems to respond well. The paddle I did find a bit stiff, but still quite playable. There are some games I might prefer using the original style Atari Joystick with, for example; Missile Command (one of my favs of the classic Atari 2600 games), if I had to pick between the two controllers (Atari Joystick or Ranger Gamepad), I like how it feels and plays a bit better using the Joystick. Several other games (such as Berzerk or Galaxian for example) I find using the Ranger more preferable. So I guess it comes down to the game and how a controller feels and responds. It's good to have some options of course. I plan to get the new Paddle Pack that Atari has, and I think those paddles will probably feel and work better playing paddle-games compared to the Ranger paddle. Cheers!
Looks like a solid package overall I think. Thanks for giving a thorough look at it! Also, very sorry to hear you've been demonetized. I don't think you deserve it. I remember you mentioned someone was copyright claiming your ability to post your remastered versions of public domain films. I know lots of people have had issues as well with the "re-used content" controversy. Hopefully you can get it back up and running soon. Would be interested in hearing the details if you don't mind.
Hi my friend. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed my review of the 2600+ gaming console. For someone that wants to get into retro-gaming with original 2600 and 7800 game cartridges, I think it's a great unit for the various things I mention in my review and for me was worth the investment. I've already been getting a lot of enjoyment from it. As for my channel suddenly being de-monitized without warning, it sucks and is disheartening after all the years I've been running my channel. You'd think RU-vid would have at least sent me a warning notice first, but nope, just "* Yank! * You're de-monitiazed!" Those movies I had on my channel, 'Night of the Living Dead' and 'And Then There Were None', were classic films that were in the Public Domain. Still, some greedy a-hole companies claim copyrights on parts on them (stuff like for a couple seconds of music or a horn-blow or even a person talking), so at that point the movies still seemed to be allowed, though I didn't earn any potential few pennies from any ads that may have appeared with it (and my content, when I uploaded it and it gave me an option to set ads in the middle of my videos or not, I always choose to not to as I know it's annoying for Viewers to have ads slapped in your face during the middle of videos, but I only put ads before and after my vids), so yeah, I wasn't even earning anything from them. I could had argued that those versions of the movies I put up were transformative works, as I spent several days work and time each to upscale, enhance, colorize and upload them, and then I also feel they had historical value. But RU-vid doesn't see it that way. It's a shame there's no real other viable options (I know there's places like Rumble, etc... but they're mostly political echo-chambers, though I suppose in some ways RU-vid is too), and that smaller content-creators (like myself) get squashed and hidden because of so much bs. Anyways, all I can do is be patient, I've removed any what I'd think might be 're-used content' from my channel and will reapply when I'm allowed to (basically a 3 month 'punishment' having my channel de-monitized before I can reapply, then reapplying can take more weeks, then I might not even be approved again). RU-vid can feel really uncaring, a bully and stifling at times. Well, I'll consider what to do. I may yet attempt using Rumble, etc... (and I have, but those platforms are even worse for trying to get one's content noticed or to grow). For now I've been mainly focusing on creating my spicy 3D art, for which I've gained several monthly Supporters and have been doing some commissioned artworks as well, so I hope to keep growing with that as it's also something I enjoy doing. Hope you're doing well and best wishes.
@@Mysticsword Sorry to hear that, and it certainly makes me worried. As more of a meme channel, it's common to use assets, so I'm wondering if when I do cross that threshold of 1K subs/4K watch hours, if I'll even qualify. Hard to say, and youtube is so vague. I may look into kick myself. Couldn't hurt to stream some mega compilations of some sort. Who knows, I try not to push the cart before the horse myself. I did see one channel claim they got remonetized by posting nothing but vlog content for 30 days in a row.
Yeah, I think it was Kick that I looked at a few months ago. But if I recall correctly, to verify one's account, you need to jump through hoops of scanning QR codes, and I don't have any current means to do that (my mobile phone is rather old now, and for other, like internet, I use my desktop computer). Why do so many of these 'social' places require jumping through strange hoops or everything is an 'app this' and 'app that' nowadays? Pftftf! I guess I'm a bit of a dinosaur. Well, I may look into it. I'll avoid Twitch though, as that place seems to have become a real sh!t-show these last few years and not so welcoming to new members to be noticed, grow or be partnered. But yeah, I may take another look at Kick and see if they have an option now to verify one's account (if wanting to hope to be partnered eventually with them) without scanning QR codes. Best of wishes and good luck, to both of us. Let's try to keep working towards some of our goals and dreams, despite hardships or obstacles that life may throw at us.
Hi Don, I was thinking of getting a 2600+ myself but I'll wait for your review! I had a 2600 back in 1982 and we spent hours playing those games! I always liked Yars' Revenge and have it as a ROM that runs on a Stella emulator but it's not the same as having the game consol.
Hey there. :) Thanks for the comment. I could just play a lot of those old games on my computer via emulation software (and I have / do occasionally).... But, to have an actual physical console that you use the original physical game cartridges with (and it can play both 2600 and 7800 cartridges), I feel I will enjoy such retro-games even more and it'll give me much more nostalgia factor as I use and play on the new console. I suppose I could have hunted down an original 40 something year-old Atari 2600 console, but then it might not even work, could be ready to go kaput and it could be a hassle trying to hook-up to a modern TV or monitor. Where as the new 2600+ console (which isn't really too expensive considering) is brand new and also has the ease of being able to hook-up to modern TVs or monitors via HDMI connection.
Im having a similar problem. At first my controller will connect to my steam and pc easily. I don’t know if its because i kept switching between pc and steam but now my controller wont connect to either system. It still turns on just wont connect even if the wireless usb is connect to steam deck or pc.
Thanks for posting this! My chair was an expensive one that holds heavier people and I was mad that it wasn't any better than a cheap chair after about a year or so. It took a couple of trips to Tractor Supply to find a size that would work - - it wasn't easy - - I had to use 2 couplings that were about the size of 1.5 x 2.5 and cut about 1/4 inch off one of them, making a 4 & 3/4" length to put over the chair cylinder. By the way, they did not have these couplings in a plumbing supply store! It's back together now and I'm sitting in it. Hoping it will be a forever fix. *Note to others, once you fix it, it will not be able to be adjusted with the little side arm attachment underneath the seat. I'm 5'7" and so the permanent higher adjustment is just right for me.
Such a nice change of pace. I love the moody look of most sci-fi/cyberpunk cityscape ambience on youtube, but it's nice having a bit of immersion for the less dangerous and more pleasant areas.
Thanks. I took a break for a while, mainly due to some difficult life-stuff going on. And yeah, that pineapple-banana-fruit hat that guy was wearing is ridiculously funny. :D
@@Mysticsword Yeah, same here. I'm in-between jobs myself at the moment, and trying to figure out my next move. All while waiting to to hear yes or no from places I already applied to.
Good luck my friend. I'm sort of in the same boat. I'm earning a bit (not enough yet) of income from my art (some monthly Supporters and then also doing some commissioned artworks) and I've also working my other projects (such as developing a new game which I hope will have some good success). These last couple of months I'm also been looking for a job locally, but no luck yet. I'll be okay for a while on some savings, but of course that won't last. I'll keep up the grind and hopefully things will improve. Best wishes.
@@Mysticsword Same here, except my savings are a bit on the thin side for now. I'm confident in my ability to land something, but unfortunately, it's also a matter of processing taking quite a long time I find.
Hey there. Thanks for the message. I've been going through very difficult life stuff lately, so my mind hasn't been into making new vids or streaming on my RU-vid channel. I do hope to be able to get back to it soon-ish. Hope you're doing well. Best wishes.
@@Mysticsword I’m doing good. I had a feeling that was the case. Im sorry you are having difficult stuff happening. So take your time. I hope everything gets better for you soon!
i used your fix using a steel pipe nipple since i'm a larger guy and wanted something sturdy. so far it's working. thank you for sharing this hack. i greatly appreciate it
my chair cylinder was 1 inch. I bought 2 2x1 inch PVC plumbing pieces, turned chair over. took the pin out, took wheels off. took the washers and other components out/off that you will not need any longer if you are using this method, IMO. NO WAY these 2 pvc pieces were going to fit until i used pliers to pull the plunger or cylinder or whatever it is out the its max length. put the 2 pieces of PVC on, put the wheels back on. put pin in. flipped it over, DONE. cost $2.26. chair is at max height now and will not move, perfect. Note: if I put EVERYTHING back on, I would have to cut the pvp pieces to fit. however, there were some other things I took off that i dont know what they do and they took up about a 1/2 inch of space. if I left those off then the 2 pieces of PVC work perfectly without cutting anything. i did put the washers back on, not the other stuff that I assume u dont need if you are removing the lift ability anyway. easy fix for cheap.
THANK YOU !! Just wanted to let you all know that I made this complex and difficult repair on my collapsing desk chair. I have been messing around with trying to think about how to fix it for months. And now with this six minute video I'm sitting pretty on Easy Street. Tim the not so tool man
I'm going to do this to my High School chair so my students can't leave it in the lowered position. It will be funny when they can't figure it out, LOL.
