Phil was the most baddas drummer. He co-founded bls with zakk. Not enough talk about that or credit given to the OG Phil "Filth" Ondich !!!bls wouldn't exist without him.

Phenomenal player. Solos could be for any song and are just solos that are the sake of a solo. Play fast, do some more fast noodling, then back to the riffs. Watching him nowadays, Zakk just could go on stage with a drum machine and solo for an hour, because it doesn't matter what the song is or chord progressions, it'll just be a 10 minute solo after 10 minute solo anyway with a pinch harmonic every 5 notes. But a phenomenal player.
Early Black Label was so unbelievably good. 1919 Eternal, Hangover Music and The Blessed Hellride are the epitome of perfection if you ask me….and that’s not even counting this album and Sonic Brew. Zakk was pumping out bangers for a solid decade
I have seen in a guitar shop a Gibson zakk wylde signature made in U.S.A , on hell of a vibe , Haven't tried due to the price , around 8000€ . The one with all the pins
