Mafia had some good tracks but yea, overall when he changed to his ozzy voice it wasnt the same anymore. Songs back in the day like berzerkers, bullet inside your head, world of trouble etc...those were the good days

Actually the band never rehearsed here in Ohio with Phil, that jam room in this video is in Europe - he's playing on a rented Slingerland kit because taking an entire drumkit overseas is expensive.

Agreed, but it seems to happen to the best of them. You either stop making music, or keep doing it long enough to become a parody of yourself. Seems like so many lean into their 'signature' aspects so much that they get lost in that very thing. I also hate seeing Zakk with no Gibsons or Marshalls.

Call me crazy but.... I think the very obvious 180 flip... was when he got sober. You can literally see everything change. Even his personality. I remember the... very intimidating zakk.. the gym that wanted to crucify Fred durst hahah And now.... he's like... your goofy grandpa.

@@NFWUGAMeRZonE It's an early version of "Rust" - when he was writing it for a few years, it had more lyrics and was called "Blessing In Disguise" and he ended up using the lyrics on "Rust" but removed a lot of lines and changed the title.

at 2:55 it's World Of Trouble, at about 4:08 it's Peddlers Of Death, at around 7:15 it's The Beginning...At Last. At around 11:40 it's Low Down. at around 15:20, it's Hey You (Batch Of Lies). At 17:00 it's Toe'n The Line, a Pride & Glory song. Then they are messing around with some Lynyrd Skynyrd with Philth on guitar and sound man Dave Allen on bass and JD on drums just screwing around for a minute. Then around 20:00 you get Zakk teaching Philth how to play Lovin' Woman by Pride & Glory on guitar, and then you get Zakk playing an early version of Rust (which later appeared on Stronger Than Death) which was at the time titled Blessing In Disguise. Then the live show at Dynamo has them playing The Beginning...At Last, Low Down, The Rose Petalled Garden, Losin' Your Mind (by Pride & Glory), Horse Called War by Pride & Glory, and No More Tears by Ozzy.

Yeah that's Fred Kowalo. He was James Lomenzo and Chris Broderick's guitar tech, then when Lomenzo was replaced by Ellefson, he was Ellefson's tech....up until a few years ago, the band cleaned house and replaced their entire crew.
