Shit, I just got this from working too many hours on concrete. I hate that feeling more than anything and it gives me severe anxiety. I'd take the pain over numbness any day. I really fucking hope It's not permanent. I hate having a fucked up back and a labor job! Worst part is, they barley pay me for the high skill hard labor. People are scum.
Teaching such helpful procedure which can change the life of lots of people will be highly commendable from your side if done in near future. Hope you teach this life-changing procedure by organizing workshops where skilled doctors from each continent can learn the same skill as you have.
33:37 AT - i think i have a nodule the same on the left area, that is also the area where most of my grinding noise comes from, so left side at c0c1/c1c2
I'm getting a lot of right buttock pain and join pain, could that be a hip impingement? I do have osteoarthritis and have just been diagnosed with non-benign cramp fasciculation syndrome.
This is precisely what I’ve had to do. Chronic headaches and upper body issues. I have significant fatty infiltration in the multifidi when reading mri which is quite easy. I had showed this to therapists and they just say oh it’s your should, I think it goes straight over their heads…. I’m doing simple rotation/flex/and extend in a circular motion while laying on pillow. I think this will allow these muscles to heal. I get terrible headaches after doing it so I’ve eased off a little going slower. I’m pretty convinced this is ground zero for my issues and will just improve as I continue to strengthen. This video is super significant for allot of people. Thanks
My SCM’s are both fatigued and sometimes swollen - since March 20, 2024. Something pinched in my neck that day, and I had already been suffering from a sudden onset (starting 3 days post op from lumbar discectomy of l3/l4 on 1/5/2024) of what seemed to be acid reflux with chest and throat tightness / globus feeling. From 3/20 on my neck, SCM and back muscles have gone through rounds of fatigue, pain, weakness. When my SCM’s are sore/fatigued, my throat almost always gets the globus sensation and it gets “caught up” when I turned my head - clicks sometimes. I passed barium swallow in May, MRI’s are clear according to spine and neuro. GI doctors (2 of them) have no solution for the reflux. Personally, I think something went wrong with neck during intubation @ lumbar surgery and it went downhill from there. Would love better direction here…I’m suffering from multiple neuropathies since March and the gastric issues and SCM is somehow involved.
Watching this literally brings me to Tears. I have had so much difficulty getting PT/Orthopedic/Neuro support for my Instability Jenga Body. Much much gratitude b
I totally believe you about these drugs and they should not be prescribed except for the worst emergency and even then perhaps never unless you don't mind living a life of debilitation. Also, would point out to everyone that you should never use Motrin or ibuprofen products because it will cause more damage even if getting short term relief using it. These drugs I would say are a product of a deranged medical industry!!!
I have diagnosed CCI and AAI now with cervical fusion. I got mine from being born with forceps. I believe there is an epidemic of people with problems from birth injury by instrument delivery.. that’s going under the radar.
I am not sure if anyone will read this, but I have similar symptoms to others in the comment section. Had it for two years now. Doctors only gave me tablets which I did not take of course. Since then I realized that the foods you eat create most of the problems in your body. Inflamation left right centre. Currently I am on an animal based diet, if I am to give it a name. Over the past year and a half I took out almost all sugar, wheat, veggies and fruit from my diet. I do still eat some fruit and veg though. Eating a lot of red meat-cooked rare. But, the animal based diet helped me greatly with bouts of dizziness, ear ringing and migraines. I am not 100 % yet, but I am good enough to have a part time job. Also light exersizes do help, just be gentle. Hope this helps someone.
I have bilateral putamen infarction which resulted in secondary Parkinsonism and dystonia amongst other problems. I would give anything for stem cells to work for that, my ankle, neck, and corneas (post lasik ectasia), but the problem with having had such a rare hypoxic-iscemic brain injury at age 30, is now I'm in poverty at age 43 😢 waiting for death or a financial miracle for a cure so I could work and actually live 😢
I know you're the best , I have a question, I'm cci patient, I had an injection in China for my cervical spine, c0-c7,It's the facet joint and the joint capsule. It's been 8 weeks now. After 4 weeks I feel more unstable, my balance is bad,and I always feel like I'm going to fall, cant hold my neck,Now the muscles and ligaments are relaxed. and my arms have no strength. Is this normal? I feel so upset, I was better than now. I hope to get your answer, I will be very grateful, thank you❣️
Hi i have very tight SCM on my left side I’ve been to physical therapy and i’m currently in OMT, I get problems with the left side of my throat and ear sometimes eye from this. What type of doctor can I see to help me find out what is causing this issue and how to treat it?
You just explanied my situation.I am 5,5years from my first MTBI and 4 years from my second. Havins so many wierd symtoms noone ( npt even many neurologists) could explain. Gotten a lot more crazy symtoms 2 weeks after getting botox for jaw clenching (masseter, temporakis and l. Ptygoroid). No gag reflex, uvulua deviatet left, tounge dwviates left, my R:s only roll on left side, convergent nystagmus, feeling like shit in the mornings. Neckpain, headpain. Pulsating tinnitus with sunchronic swoshing. Numbness and tingeling ledt underarm and trancuenh on legt foot. I feel lika my brain and eyes dont commucate. I can walk into things head first, no sheugginh back when objects comes at my face. Eyedoctors conclusion the other day is that the lower part of the brain is giving me these symtoms. It seems as if I might’ve to medullar symtoms maybe because of instabke neck? I am guessing that my jawmuscles can’t compensate by clenching anymore wich causes my shit neck to impinge my medulla evenn more than before? I almost faint with valsalva manouve(while experiencing that my brain is exploding), this occurs when i lie on my stomach and tilting head backwards. I am sorry for all the strange letters but my fine motorsjikls are shit. I dont expect you to answer but if you do I am intrested in having a medical consultation by videocall im a near future if possible?
My buttocks hurts so bad I can't lay on my back but I have too because of knee &groan pain, plus I'm unable to walk without my walker,My left knee feels like it freezes up. The pain goes from knee to thigh to groin to hip and around to right buttocks. I can only sleep on my back and I don't acatually sleep as I'm in pain all night.😢 The buttocks pain has been going on for 2 months but knee&leg pain for over a year and it's getting progresivly worse.😢 I don't have a doctor so I would need to go to a ER,thats why I've prograstenated. I'm 70yr.😢
Can this venous compression lead to downstream complications or changes in venous flow/pressure such as weakness and numbness in the limbs and muscles below the neck? I have slight transverse ligament instability, synovial joint inflammation in the C1-C2 area, cervicla curve reversal, and likely intracranial hypertension arising from this specific problem. But whenever my C1 moves slightly abnormally to one side or too far forward I get stroke like attacks very suddenly that look like myelopathy. I don't have an upright MRI but the supine MRI did not show my dens hitting my spinal cord, or that the transverse ligament was nearly that hypermobile enough to do that according to DMX. There's no basilar invagination on my MRI. Transcranial doppler came back negative for VBI as well. So my next thought is either a CSF flow problem or a vascular one that's somehow affecting my brainstem or upper spinal cord as a result of instability.
I am feeling very lousy worse than usual this past week if I don’t have my shoulders up in my head bent back so I can feel the drainage of the vein down my neck my heart starts to feel extremely heavy and I have to lay down please give insight
