EAFC has the same issues FIFA had, all players and teams feel and play the same. Offline is really dull, the hype and cut scenes are nice at the start but you find you quickly start skipping them.
It's an eyesore to watch Spoons. And I don't mean that from an "eFootball / PES or nothing" standpoint, -as I'm someone who has gone to Fifa in the past as my go-to footy game when I tired of Konami's laziness. But this is so very much worse than the Fifa games that did get my time like FIFA18 to 22. The gameplay has completely regressed. Like they can add all the glitz, glam & modes (simulation included) they want, but it still feels and looks like elasticated spastic hawks skating around a beach ball. There's just no weight or physicality to it. Every single kick, pass, shot, cross or turn defies the laws of gravity & physics. If we have to compare, eFootball even as a glorified demo & card rinser, is so superior to this that it ain't even the same sport. Hard pass.
I like the sim sliders, but I had to up the sprint speed a bit to get rid of the hamster wheel effect. Honestly, it's not a bad game in my opinion. It still doesn't have that bit of magic that PES has, in terms of player movement and ball physics, but it's fun and the amount of content is crazy. I like the newest version of eFootball, but man, on PS5 that shit'll make your eyes bleed. I'm pretty sure they're running it at 1080p. EA FC is gorgeous by comparison.
Good video, but if everybody can use smart assist the level is plain, its like the difference between PA1 to PA3, it is up to you what you use. If everybody can enable smart assist, then the field is level and people that have not used skill moves until now will not use them later. For example I am too dumb to pull off stunning shots, passes etc and I still win most of of my games. Because I can get into the box and score with what I can pull off.
i think you should sit with game more and tweak the sliders. trust me, as an old die hard pro evo fan, ea fc with matt10 sliders and a bit of my adjustments on top of it, the game is super addicting just like the good old pro evo days. a true possession based slow challenging gameplay
@@outcast-tk3gv I found his sliders from the past kill the joy and came a passing sim. Again, they're not for me but I get why people like those. Just suck the enjoyment and challenge out for me personally. Like I said, I think I'll prefer default sliders (which I'm yet to try) as I prefer the high speed challenge but maybe tone down the passing a bit.
Try to play efootball now, the new version gameplay is so good, and the player id is amazing some player moves exactly like in real life football (Ronaldinho, Beckham, Haaland, Ronaldo, Messi, etc) Trust me you will never going back to eafc/fifa 😊
I know a lot of people trash EA. I was one of them, however, with FIFA 22 to now. They at least add more features and are listening or somewhat listening to PES fans. I don't think gameplay will get better until a new engine? Just my opinion. I've been buying it just to support them again. I haven't bought EA FIFA games since 14. As long as EA tries, I'll keep buying.
Great review! And i can safely say that i am not spending on this game this year because they haven't corrected any of the problems that irritated me throughout last year! Konomi will only butcher it with every update they do which is a pattern of the bull shitery they like to perform which is an insult to us that do spend.

For me it's the closest to PES it's ever been. You cant just sprint past defenders anymore, you use it more like a burst and use patient build up play like PES. Obviously still not as good as the older pes gameplay but its a step in the right direction. Hopefully they won't ruin it with future updates but I'm not holding my breath 🙃

No worries man. It’s just you mentioned in this video the Ai passing too much in simulation mode. Apparently you can control all that in the new cpu sliders. I haven’t heard anything in depth regarding these sliders. You and TheTruBrits could maybe do a video on them and their impact. See if we can get an enjoyable game. Thanks.
The bottle line is, if you like online pvp play eafc 25, as there is no scripting on your input command. unlike efootball, which is heavily scripted online. And if you like offline mode, just play efootball 2025 as you can manage the scripting against the AI
@@Radfootball007 If you want to believe the game isn't scripted, that's your choice-I'm not here to argue. But I won't play a game where my defender, with 90 jumping and 90 heading, gets outperformed by someone with only 60 in both, jumping higher and heading the ball better. In EA FC 25, I have full control of my players and defense, unlike in eFootball, where interceptions seem scripted, shot blocking is unreliable, or my goalkeeper and players suddenly switch off in the 89th minute of the game, letting the other team win, even when I have 70% possession and 15 shots.
@@trugaminglegend nothing is 100% bro, just like in real life football. Even if you have higher jump, height and heading there is a time you will lose aerial duel, most of the times you will win but its not 100%.

e football has zero soul and its bland...with only two modes...stopppppppppp it please....you could have saved us this review sir...lol. You can play e football because he caters to your style of play and it showed when you "tried" to play FC 25
@spoony I just have 1 important question for me, does this game simply have a normal football Premier season? 38 games, real squad and just a full season! Also if so if you finish in the top 4 do you get to play in the Champions league? I'm not interested in any other mode. Thank you... Oh is pc version ok?
What I do like here is that the AI doesn't look overpowered. How is the control of the players though, is it still a bit floaty? It still looks to me like the players are skating on the pitch.
You know, I'm watching this and I still have that feeling that it's plastic toys moving on green texture. It's still almost same fifa17 but with new lights. That's it.
