you gotta be real stupid to sell an S2000 for that piece of crap BMW lol or any BMW for a matter of fact . some people dont deserve to have classics like the S2k .
Put the standard exhaust back on and enjoy the induction and the lack of drone. The NSX was never about the exhaust. Who cares what others hear outside?
I just put the v2 RFL pride exhaust on mine, have pride headers+high flow cats. Loud but amazing sound. The comptech exhaust sound great, but I'm in love so far with the pride exhaust. Makes it honestly sound like a f1 car at high revs.
@@midarete nope down in South Carolina, and I watched probably every video out there on the v2 RFL sound before I got it. None of them capture what it sounds like in real life.
@@DumptruckSM Exactly! most exhaust videos just doesn't sound right. Thats why I tried putting the mic in multiple spots in this video to try to capture the sound
Hey, great video! This is a fantastic perspective of the sounds for anyone interested in this specific setup. Very helpful! Thanks for making this type of content! Keep it up!
stock intercooler with a heat exhaust reverse hood scoop thing most heat soak like crazy and a hot air intake too when the stock box is better than pretty much all the aftermarket options spacers on those front wheels too when the 5x100 bearings already struggle a bit guess it depends on your intentions, looks alright anyway
I actually put the hood on with intentions of putting my turboXS FMIC on the same week but found some of the pipes were shot so put that on hold. Honestly the car doesn’t heat soak terribly even on 90 degree days like you’d think. Probably due to the venting doing exactly what it’s designed for idk. Also, YES hot air intake but again, was expecting to have the FMIC on so that I can make a custom box for the intake since NO aftermarket box fits with a front mount. I’ve done testing with both open intakes and stock box and the difference in IATs isn’t really much. If anything from a stop to rolling speeds the IATs drop much quicker and stay cooler with an open filter. At stop lights it takes longer for temps to rise but I’m not really beating the shit out of it at any lights so it doesn’t matter much. As far as the wheel bearings, having had enough Subarus with spacers on them, they last long enough that it doesn’t bother me 🤷🏽♂️ and as with all opinions to each their own lol
I think it depends on what you want out of a car. Fortunately for me, I still have my NSX so that means I get an older JDM manual car that I can take out whenever. I do think the F80 is the best car I've own so far. Not from a raw driving perspective but rather a more "modern" car compared to the S2K that I can take out and not worry so much about maintenance for an older car. The F80 does have a few things you need to look out for, but I wouldn't hesitate again to make the trade.
What he said was about right, it's all up to you. But in my opinion a f8x m3 is such an amazing car to drive manual or dct and sounds amazing when done right.
@@p9r4ex8dyk thanks! I ordered it from BlackHawkJapan. The currency exchange is in our favor so it was much cheaper. However I think they caught on because now the shipping is now nearly $200 whereas I spent only $50 on shipping
