Estée’s most recent project called MIRROR WATER is a lifestyle community focused on self-reflection. Estée aims to build a space for people that value vulnerability and introspection through the ritual of bathing and body care.
When she’s not working, you’re most likely to find Estée soaking in the tub, drinking her favourite red wine or walking around the park with her rescue pup, Effie.

Estee I have the same dog which I rescued from a shelter in Cyprus . Watching effie was like watching my own dog . Coconi dogs are the best loving dogs ever . ❤
I had a similar rescue experience! Totally agree that things get better with time + them having more positive experiences. So worth it to see their confidence grow though ❤
Thanks for sharing your story. Do you get nervous walking her at night? I use to live in Marlybone and in the wee hours of the morning, no one was around! If you don’t take her out in middle of the night, what do you do if she has an emergency?
After you adopted Effie you inspired me to adopt a dog from abroad. Luna looks very similar to Effie, but she's black. She is from Romania, I got her at 10 months old, she's now 5 years. She was also a street dog. I was so lucky with her - she's been the perfect dog. No anxiety, no food aggression/protectiveness, no resource guarding, no prey drive, nothing. She's best friends with my cats and guinea pigs, she's got perfect recall. Her literal only vice is that she barks when she's happy and she's the world's happiest dog so she barks a lot 😂 she was scared of doorways for about 6 months after I got her so I had to carry her through them, and she's still scared of brooms. She was scared of children but is now wonderful with them, especially my 2 year old daughter! Adopting a random street dog from abroad found me the world's best pup and I'm so grateful to you for introducing me to the idea because while id always have rescued (even my horses are rescues!) I hadn't considered from abroad before.
Girl the amount you just gush and glow in this video makes me SO happy. You’re such an amazing dog mom! I remember a video you share maybe a few years ago and you were brought to tears with frustration about Effie, and any pet owner could tell that you were in the breakthrough phase of dealing with a nervous pet. its fascinating how dogs who have suffered trauma remain the same throughout their lives to some degree. so heartbreaking how cruel humans can be. so happy she has a lovely life now
I loved the philosophy of Tails and my dog loved the free bag, as soon as I bought the next one she refused to go near it (like literally didn’t eat for a week, we thought she was sick!) and now you can get it in Sainsbury’s so it doesn’t seem a genuine brand to me as they’ve prioritised expansion and money over their original brand mission 🤷🏼♀️ love little Effie though and glad she’s improving little by little!
Your thoughtful, sensitive, kind approach with Effie is refreshing to hear. This may sound strange but I have a similar approach with my son who is on the autism spectrum. When you have this deep respect and understanding for their sensitivities the bond that grows is unmatched. These beautiful souls are our teachers. So blessed ✨

I adopted my dog 4 months ago. She’s terrified to leave the yard or to ride in a car. It’s getting better. Effie is adorable!! It feels like I have a toddler but she’s so worth it 🐶
Hi Estee, I am a viewer from Singapore and I have been following you for ages. I’ve watched all your videos especially the ones where Effie makes an appearance, and truth be told, Effie is sometimes the reason why I watch your videos 😂 Anyway I just want to say that Effie looks almost identical to my dog Bailey which is a golden retriever (and this is part of the reason why I love Effie so much). Even their colour is exactly the same! So Effie is definitely part golden retriever. Bailey even zoomies like Effie - it is almost uncanny 😱 Wish I could send you pics of Bailey so that you can see for yourself how much she resembles Effie. Anyway please keep sharing videos of Effie - I honestly love her so much!
My dog is from Romania and she has anxiety issues, but she is the quirkiest dog I have ever had. She is just adorable and I am her advocate and guardian. I know her like no other, so it definitley doesn't sound strange when you say you know how she is feeling just by looking at her. That is a bond! I remember when Effie was on Lily's Kitchen as a pup, then you also tried her on Butternut Box. I also remember Reggie ❤
I love that you are such a dog mom!! I am a new dog mom & I feel like I've only become weirder & unapologetic about accepting this new role! I fostered dogs for 2 years before I ended up adopting a puppy. I think it's so important & I want to thank you for supporting the beauty & goodness in adopting. So many people in my circles have designer dogs, but every puppy deserves love no matter what breed or mix. Thanks for gushing about Efiie; makes me feel more normal about the exponential love my pup, Carmine has to give & all the silly yet infinite affection I give back. Thank you, Estee!!
Having an anxious fearful pup I so agree with all of this. She manages it so well now that she’s 3 but man oh man. Taking her to a brewery would fill her sink and overflow it in like 5 seconds. I wonder if there is a correlation between fearful dogs and not being food motivated. My dog couldn’t care less to have a treat when she’s battling an anxiety attack on a walk. Usually she’s fearful of other dogs and not people.
Thank you for promoting adoption and for detailing your rescue journey!!! Been following your dog journey since Reggie, and have loved seeing the new struggles and victories with Effie! I work with dog rescues in California, and we have a extremely bad shelter crisis. People abandoning dogs left-and-right, backyard breeders looking to make a quick buck and dumping dogs that don't serve them in this way, hundreds (and i mean HUNDREDS) getting euthanized every day. If there are any Californian dog lovers reading this, please support your local rescues and shelters, foster and adopt if you can, so that we can save many more just like Effie!
I love that even though Estee is clearly very successful, makes good money, and is always doing fancy things and at cool events, she is still so down to earth and never seems snobby or like her success has gone to her head. Somehow a relatable queen and an aspirational/goals queen at the same time ❤
Lovely update! When I got my Patsy Girl 3 years ago, she reminded me so much of Effie. She was and still is, full of anxiety. Her confidence has grown & I am so proud of her! Thank you for the sink analogy, what a brilliant way to think of how she's feeling!
The photos of Effie at doggie daycare made my heart melt, she looks so joyful 🥺 Have you ever considered joining dog walk groups with her in London maybe ? I don't know if I recall correctly but I remember some of your older vlogs where you used to go to the park with Reggie and some other fellow greyhounds 🥰
Effie is such a gorgeous girl. Our little girl Dixie (we have miniature schnauzers) came to us as an extremely anxious ex-breeding girl and she was so timid and scared that it was heartbreaking. When I look at our darling girl now it's hard to remember her being so afraid. It does take a lot of effort and a lot of love but, wow, aren't they so worth it. Our two mini schnauzers, Dixie and Darcy, completely fill my heart. Big hugs to your girl, the beautiful Miss Effie ❤
