31:09 Yes for a recent example just watch Biden's 2024 state of the union. Biden's message is basically to make America great again. It was in effect an explicit break with the old Reagan-Thatcher neoliberal regime that ruled America since 1979. Biden is trying to transition Americans smoothly to a new regime. Trump has screwed that all up. But they both basically have the same message: make America great again. Biden is trying to cast himself as a Roosevelt fighting for a new deal or fair share. Trump is fighting for the GOP amid the collapse of the old Reagan party and regime. Both Trump and Biden are nationalist semi-fascists.
This guy wants to talk about justice and suffering etc. This guy is a disgusting hypocrite. This is the type of man that takes straight edge people and turns them into angry racists. This is the guy who recently made a woman and her 4 kids homeless based on assumptions and bias. This is the guy that says things are irrelevant only when it suits him. With people like him playing god with people's lives, there will never be no justice in the world. It's people like him that give this country a bad name and it's people like him that blame others when in reality he's the one to blame for suffering and racism
i think I love your message but it is nearly incoherent. I do believe in what I think you are trying to say. We have to pay attention to you and what you can achieve. You are our future hope.
So, not many fantastical assumptions just some key ones, like thinking that mutual recognition of standards (or worse regulatory goals) was available, as in that the EU was going to grant the UK the essential benefit of the single market just like that... Childish and naive. And recognising AEOs or foreign comformity assessment bodies certifying that their goods fulfill EU regulations is a far cry from mutual recognition of standards (and by the way AEOs is something that the EU agreed to in the TCA, but not to conformity assessment). And to the question that Mr. Shanker so bravely would ask the EU of 'But you already agreed to lower trade barriers with third countries, why not with the UK?' the answer is: 'We have already, with the EFTA countries. Do you want to be in the single market?' 'No' answers Mr. Shanker, 'We want to have more competitive regulations than you but we need you to recognise our more competitive regulations, because it is in your interest to'. HAHAHAHAHA. May I remind Mr. Shanker that we elect our politicians to protect our interests, not the interests of third countries. Oh, and the idea that the UK could negotiate diagonal accumulation with the EU and the EU's FTA partners (which is what he means with the rules of origin negotiations). Pie in the sky. For a transition period, sure, permanently, I'd like to see the country that would do that and not get sacked. And the ridiculous statistical lie of the EU trade declining... When anybody says that my head explodes. The stupidity of that analysis is at a 2nd quarter IQ level. It's almost as if there was no benefit from the RoW growing richer and the EU being the greatest exporter by far because of the economies of scale benefit that the EU creates. Most EU countries sell more to the RoW than to the EU, but that's because of the intra-EU supply chains which makes our products competitive. But thanks for the entertainment. Now that we know exactly how thing went, everyone has to admit that the second speaker was completely correct in his assessment. Just like Ivan Rogers was, but the Brexiteers rather sacked him than to listen to him. Lalalala, hands on the ears... Although Martin's notion that the EU has to provide a solution for Northern Ireland is as ridiculous as Shanker's suggestions. The EU is not responsible for the domestic problems the UK has caused by its democratic choice of leaving the EU. Again: We elect our politicians to solve our problems, not the problems that a third country has caused for itself by its sovereign choices.
This is old. They refer to the Trump administration as the one in government as they speak. Now it would be impossible to get any brexiteer to accept taking part in a new one 🤣

Personally, I think now is the best time to invest in the Crypto/NFT space. Or the stock market, whichever suits you best, just get a way to double the money you make. The cost of living is increasing on daily basis and unfortunately these politicians are not helping.
capitalism is financial oligarchy... and indeed, prof Streeck points out that social democracy has tamed the beast somewhat after the second world war, but since neoliberalism, the psychopathic predators are unleashed. I have no doubts, that somewhere in the future, humanity will look at capitalism as a horrendous episode of global injustice and exploitation. Well, that is, if humanity survives capitalism. From a humanistic perspective, we still live in barbaric times.
