2016 was awful. The joke about the cat was “Mike hat” so When you say it faster it sounds like my cat. But the joke was supposed to be that Mike hat was his dogs name. To be honest, hemsworth and McKinnon were the best things about that movie. Outside of the mike hat joke i thought hemsworth was pretty funny myself but that’s just me.
Extreme ghostbusters theme song was awesome. Performed by voice actor Jim Cummings (Darkwing duck and Winnie the Pooh) very 90’s. The final 2 episodes of extreme (if you missed those) are called back in the saddle parts 1 & 2. Which features the return of Peter ray and Winston. Very much worth it.
Hardly even remotely close to exclusive to him. Nearly every single streamer out there does this - they'll make a thank you video and then in the next stream they'll demean those same people in the chat.
Always knew something was off a out this guy. Who the fuck makes a multi part video series just to shit on a game? Idc if it was FF8 you can summarize it’s problems in 30 minutes not nearly 3 fucking hours!
Spoony was an absolute asshole. He promised stuff he knew he couldn't deliver. He ripped off hundreds of fans and supporters. His rudeness and downright disrespect toward his audience are legendary in the worst ways possible. And yet... If he uploaded a brand new review tomorrow, without even so much as an allusion to his past reprehensible behavior, I'd still rejoice. Because Spoony is a one in a million talent. And it's the most egregious of sins for him not to share that.
Man it really seems like being a game streamer or content creator would be enjoyable and relatively easy given you want to do it but a ton of these guys seem to have lost their minds because of it
@@Chale1288 ik, dude kept his ego in check since his inception and kept politics out of his content, so that nobody is left out from watching his content. Thats why he is still going strong.
@@hiranmaydas4921 Plus, you can see that James really pursues his passions with what he does. He's enjoyable as the Nerd, as Board James and as any other character he may choose to play, but when he's just himself and talking about filmmaking, horror movies or any of his other interests, his enthusiasm really comes through and it's just infectious and warm and it makes you feel engaged in whatever he's talking about. Whereas a lot of modern critics are nonstop sarcasm and cynicism (even though it CAN be very funny when done right), James tends to lend a good energy to the projects he works on, even when he plays an angry character like the Nerd. It kind of reminds me of the guys from MST3K/Rifftrax in that way.
I enjoyed Spoony for awhile but he was starting to become a jerk and cynical... But I dont hate him because I always though that maybe he had some kind of emotional or mental issues that were unchecked, and then the amount of hate messages he got probably started to get to him. I do hope hes okay now though
He isn't, sadly. His steady girlfriend April left him some time ago, he doesn't review or make review content anymore, not even his famous vlogs, all he does is livestream and your mileage may vary on those, and his Patreon is slowly declining. It's honestly just a matter of time before he disappears from the web entirely, never to be heard from again.
Im a huge spoony fan and I would think it was sarcasm if he laughed but he didnt. Hes straight faced with a deadpan voice. Dudes annoyed at others jokes the same way Nostalgia Critic is annoyed by other's films. Completely bitterness and envy towards their target of choice. Channel Awesomes biggest stars are assholes except Joe. Joe is cool. Probably because of his healthy friend circle. OJ and others are really chill and not part of CA. Anyways, ill end on this. @@daoyang223 For what I know, Angry joe left that cesspool of toxicity, I am a huge fan of his work, and is one of the few game reviewers who is not afraid to be direct. I am actually glad he left CA for good. And I will tell you what happened, assholes in charge thinking what is best for the couminty and treating the rest of people like shit, they even tried to hide the fact that one of their workers was a child molester if I am correct, his name was jewwario. They care so little about the people that work there and more about their stupid reputation, I was a fan of NC in the past but now I just know he is an asshole who cant take criticism (quite ironic isn't it?)
Hey, so what's the deal with Spoony? I'm afraid the only things I know about this person are that he was a part of ThatGuyWithTheGlasses at one point and that he disappointed a lot of his fans. That's about it. Can someone fill me in in brief, please?
I really do miss the old Spoony and I have still have hope that one day and I know that I'm asking from too much, but I'm hoping that one day that we can get the old spoony back.
Newsflash: This month he's made $526, less than half of a full-time minimum-wage worker's monthly earnings. That's how terrible his situation is. He needs to either clean up his act or find a real job; pretty sure it's gonna be the latter.

There's a lot of things him and darksydphil have in common. Both were in their prime back when RU-vid was new and cool, both always complain of money and beg their fans to donate, both have really bitchy girlfriends, both get scary mad at the drop of a hat, both did and said stupid shit on Twitter and Facebook to get ridiculed and even banned, and both are a complete laughing stock to the internet community. Thing is unlike DSP Spoony has a legacy of actually good content behind him, whereas DSP just has terrible LPs that can only be enjoyed ironically. Also, DSP lives in a castle in a gated community and has massive wads of cash for doing something literally anyone can do: play games with awful commentary. Spoony, once upon a time, put a ton of effort into choreographing skits and using editing to create iconic gags. Now, he's just as bad as DSP. Nothing but boring LP streams.
