About time retailers hold these people accountable. I’ve seen people that proudly return items as a habit after events. Costco needs to implement this.
In America fast food is an affordable restaurant for lower class but in SEA fast food restaurant actually for middle to middle up customers & most SEA customer prefer street food because of the price but for middle up class prefer going to this restaurant because of hygiene & good for chit-chat
i remember years back, i met these wannabe “down with the system” types. kid told me he would go i to a store … steal NECKTIES?! and then go return them, with no receipt, and they would actually give him money back. how on earth they ever fell for this is beyond me, and how he did it with a straight face ? no idea ! … this guy obviously never wore a necktie in his life. The only time i ever tried to return a product, it was a faulty dehumidifier to wal-mart, and they refused to give me the return, i cant remember why. it wouldnt drain properly.
So since 2019 fast food is up 30% on average more or less per state. Then Covid Biden plan. Now paying for the same thing in 2019 costs $11,400 more per year now. Wake up, not woke up. Think about it at least.
No it doesn't. The fact you misunderstand the difference between "INSURE" and "ENSURE" doesn't get you off the hook. If TIP was anacronym, it would be TEP, not TIP... The suggestion being that we are ensuring that something happens, not underwriting a policy for it.
Here's a thought: Don't frivolously buy things. The act of returning things is actually a chore that you can easily avoid by spending more effort on the front-end to truly know if it's the right purchase for you.
Pfff, as if they were all that successful in other markets either! 🤣 It's not like there are no American cars in Europe at all, but it's a small number. P.S. Actually, the only American cars I see often in my city are Teslas. Then there are a few pickup trucks like Dodge, even a few Ford F-150, but those are really rare. Back in 1990s Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee were really popular, but those times are gone. Sure, occasionally you can see something exotic like Corvette, but nowhere often as Bentley, Ferrari or Lamborghini.
I remember when flat screen LED TV's first came out some would buy them for a big event like the Super Bowl then return it afterwards. Some retailers like Best Buy then slapped on a 15% or more return fee to discourage it. Macy's put tags on fancy dresses like in the armpit that say if removed it cannot be returned to prevent use of them for a single event and returned. Home Depot likely changed policies like with tools that someone would use on a project and then return. With clothes, sometimes persons will buy to take home as don't feel comfortable or have the time to try on at the store.
It's the same price to go to like perkins or dennys, really any cafe rather than fast food & just get it to go. In fact, we got a great lunch for two of us for 23.00, where fast food usually costs 20.00. Why even go to mcdonalds anymore? There really isn't a reason. Curb pick up, order online, it's the same time to get it, but better food lol. They already priced us out of going there & if they think it's because we are in the household income they think we are, they are dead wrong. It's because we don't like being played for a fool. If these other restaurants didn't have to upcharge to the same percentage, why did they? They make plenty of profit in a year, if they want to increase wages to a more livable wage for their employees, maybe take a cut from the executives & pass it down, rather than the customer paying the wage increase. That way everyone continues being fed a piece of the pie.
Wealth of the wicked is layed up for me they shall gather it up but I shall put it on he that by usery and Unjust gain increaset his substance he shall gather it up for me because I pity the poor they
When ordering large, heavy items like window air conditioners, I pay online and have them shipped to store (Lowes or Home Depot). When picking up, I get the store employees to remove the heavy item from the box for my inspection, because there is often hidden damage from boxes being dropped, but the box itself does not appear damaged.
It's funny how housing costs are too high for even a family of 2 to be able to afford these days, yet back in the boomer days a single man could work an office job & pay for that house in full by retirement & put food on the table while the wife did all of housework & watched over the kids. Now a man can't even get laid without a woman needing his financial ticket now more than ever... Feminism & Capitalism. Won't a wombo combo... Also, liberals in the comments saying that this is gaslighting is pure comedy. People are spending money they don't have & raising their household debt to levels not seen since the 2008 financial crash. People are literally living off of debt now. They're not living paycheck to paycheck anymore. That's way passed the norm. The new norm is maxing out credit cards to stay inside your car...

Back when Blockbuster Video was mailing rental DVDs, I sometimes received broken discs, and asked for replacements. After the 3rd ocurrence, they started blaming me, so I took the broken disc to the nearest BB store and cancelled my membership. Months later, they went out of business.
As much as I love Chick fil A I can sometimes barely can afford it. I refuse to pay $11 and up just for a chicken meal.😒 The food fast food restaurant's isn't filling you up for a long time either
$10 for a cup of coffee happens because people are willing to pay such ridiculous prices. If they can charge it and still sell their product, they will. It's that simple. You don't like the price of the cup of coffee, don't buy it. It's not essential. Make it at home, or buy it from a place which sells it for less.
let's not compare American automakers to China, let just compare it to European automakers: at least European had build some prototype or model in market, what did GM, Ford did? Remember that In 2008 Obama had bailed out these big corp? why to do that? cuz everybody said car industry in USA is top prior its important!!! We are standing in 2024 now.....to look back that these automakers they all have like at least 10-15years to deploy and prepare the big trend of EV.......
