I noticed the head swap on Leo and Donnie, I think they were trying to match the box art. Cause on the box art Leo shows both sides of the mouth and Donnie shows one
Super excited for these, but why are Dick‘s clothes blue?? Hoping that’s just how it appears on camera, because they should be black. I’ll be really bummed if not
Dick Tracy is dope bringing the mob into the world of comics it’s just so fun the way they create characters. This middle ground is actually perfect! And the figures are actually some of the best Mezco has ever made
Anthony... sencillamente muy buena reseña y muy buenas figuras, al final lo de tener abundante ropa, no limita las articulaciones pues son muy buenas por lo que nos dejaste ver
Anthony, impeccablly dressed action figures. I want their tailor 😉 to help me look the tops . Yeah really the bunching of the fabric is the only detraction from such a fine set. The unusual weapon is called a sap if I remember my street fighting history 😁 If your interested Mad Cave has a relatively recent Dick Tracy comic book series. The art and action is remarkable. Check it out I think you'll enjoy it. Terrific review ✌️
Good review!! I don’t mind the skin texture that much, smoother would have been better but not a deal breaker for me. As for the Leo/Donnie head swap. I personally glad they did cause like you Leo is my #1 favorite turtle, but I always hated the expression on the vintage figure. So far I’ve only grabbed Leo and Im happy with him. Not perfect, but I wasn’t expecting perfect 👍
Just got mine yesterday and I have a review up. A few things: As a collector of Mezco I'm surprised you didnt mention how much lighter this figure is. I think they are using a cheaper body. The articulation on mine is terrible. I can barely bend the elbows (feel like they are going to break). Maybe I need to work it more but I'm afraid of it breaking. The second thing is the pleather on the cape and glider suit feels absolutely cheaper than what they normally use. I feel like thats the type of material that will be flaking in two years' time. For $125 I expected more (which is maybe why i didn't pre-order from Mezco and finally gave in a few months later and ordered from BBTS). Overall I personally dont think this fig is worth it, unless someone is a huge fan of this rendition/movie.
I watched the show growing up and didn't know there was a second season, but the story stayed with me the idea of mystical armor and the way they designed it was truly remarkable. To discover years later they've made figures as detailed as these is mind-blowing I want all the figures but I'm starting with the inferno armor because it's the cheapest one.
