The homage to the pulp Shadow magazine is incredible! The device with Burke calling in to report is outstanding. The scale with cops on one side, criminals on the other, is very thoughtful. Mezco, A++
I've always loved The Shadow, and I adore the 1994 movie despite (because of?) its many flaws, so I was super excited to get this figure! It's fantastic! And I know the smaller black guns are accurate to the pulp magazines, but I'm a sucker for the big dumb silver guns from the movie, so I actually spray painted the guns from the original Kenner toy line silver and they work really well with this figure! A bit cartoony and definitely oversized, but the long, sleek chrome look just works for me.
Anthony, incredible accessories. Classic noir inspired styling . The Shadow had the 1994 film which I liked. In comics a crossover with Batman called the Murder Geniuses came out relatively recently. A good read. Photography and posing would work well with previous Batman releases. You homed in on that with the Bruce Wayne head swap. Not just the Shadow everyone knows this was a great review ✌️
I also love the Shadow! If he would have come with a hatless head I would have bought 2 just to display him as one of his alter egos and The Shadow! Discovered his existence thanks to the movie when I was a kid and I bought the toys, still have them in a box ay my parents house. I even got the pulp novels from before comics existed as a medium and they still read great.
Oh, hell yeah--been waiting for you to do this one, Anthony! Congrats on #208! Keep 'em comin'! Holsters aren't identical--one is horizontal, the other one is vertical.
