Welcome to myFirstech Academy - we've built an extensive video library with remote start installation techniques and tech tips. Whether you're a beginning or a master- we've got you covered!
I have a CM900AS and everything works great, remote starts perfectly fine but will randomly shuts down after starting. Sometimes will run for a minute sometimes 20 seconds sometimes 2 seconds but keeps shutting down randomly. Troubleshooting blinks say im getting a brake input, disconnected brake input completely just to see as a test but still does it, im grounded at a factory location on the dash frame, I even sanded surface rust off and its tight. Its either got to be an internal module problem or a ground issue im going to check resistance back to battery to see.
In the video the guy says interior or rear view camera either or but the fine print in the video says it supports two video channels so what one is it? And I don’t understand why it wouldn’t have interior and rear plug? Do you guys have plans to make this an option in the future? If you can run two cameras off one input do you guys make a special adapter?
I have Sonata 2018 model and my remote start wasnt working. I have followed his advice and it really start working. Thanks to him to share knowledge and educate others.... 👍😊❤
If a customer already has a dronmobile subscription for their vehicle, do you need another subscription for the camera separately or does that tap into the vehicles subscription?
The Drone XC Camera would replace the existing drone hardware in that situation. The subscription would need transferred/upgraded. The Camera has a Drone built in 👍
Here is how i turned it off “open ALL passenger doors”. Close the driver door then on the car remote press lock, unlock then lock again one after the other pretty quick.
bought an X1LTE for my Audi A4 - install for remote start is rear boot area. All harness' installed - does not work. No tech help. Cancelled Drone subscription. waste of money
The pedal method isnt working for me. I just got this car 3 weeks ago and all the seller had is the main black key, no fob. Mine is a 2000 xk8. Uocki.g the trunk doesn't work either nor does locking and unlocking the door. Can u help? Thank you. God ✝️ Bless
I don’t like how it could be easily removed by a thief. At least with the X1, it's hidden inside the dash. But this makes it easier to identify if a car has an alarm system. A dash cam and a security system should be two separate devices.
Just ask for them to hardwire the dash cam separately from your existing X1. The only minor inconvenience is that you have to have 2 separate subscriptions. One for the X1 and one for the dash cam itself, but I only have the live stream service for the cam and it’s only $7 a month, plus I have the Premium Plus for $20, so $27 a month total. And in the Drone app you have to add the dashcam as its own vehicle, even though they are in the same vehicle. I named the “2 vehicles” as Dashcam and Compustar. So if I want to live stream the cameras I just click the Dashcam and livestream. For GPS and everything else I just click Compustar all in the same app. That way even if they rip out your camera you still have your X1 doing all the security work. Sorry for the long response, and idk if it even made sense… too lazy to reread what I just wrote 🤣
@@nandycanela6061yeah, they should have just added a feature to disable the camera from doing all the Drone stuff and just act as a camera if you already have a X1 lol Would have made everyone’s life easier but oh well 🤷🏻♂️
@@drewcee7226 But if you already have the X1, you probably have the security system setup so even if someone gets in your car and rips out the cam to disable GPS they won't be able to start the car! Unless you have a real threat of your car getting broken into, cam ripped out and then stolen via flatbed/towtruck, the concerns about replacing the old X1 drone with the cam are way overblown imo. While you can hardwire the cam separately, running that and the drone will be a real drain on your battery if you aren't driving at least almost every other day.
In that case, you would replace the existing X1 with the Drone XC, since they would occupy the same data port. The subscriptions are transferrable, so the customer could contact us to get the service transferred from the old X1 to the XC.
Rigged, 617 comments is more than enough for a class action lawsuit. 5 or more people is a conspiracy. Thank you for your help, but mine goes back into failure right after again!
