I wonder what model Fuller 10 speed he used? It probably weighs a lot more than a NV4500. I wonder if it saves any fuel since it probably has more frictional losses.
I gotta ask though... why bother putting in such a heavy duty trans when the suspension and brakes could/would never handle a load that this trans was designed for? I own a 97 v-10 with the nv4500 and 4:10 gears and the things pulls like hell. This just seems so overkill to me
This new Lib-Tard generation won't ever appreciate something like this, there to busy identifying whatever the newest type of lazy ass Cock-sucker they came out with now or Bitchin about not knowin' what bathroom to use!!!😆
After watching and hearing how hard that engine is working I'll be scrolling hoping to find what the payload was and what sort of speed that truck is capable of and what final drive your dad decided for the rear/front differential. That truck was SERIOUSLY working and obviously pulling off that trans swap is super super rad I'm not even going to front one bit. SUPER cool for a geek like me. K bye
Dad got that seat pulled waaay up. Sweet vid. With those stacks n tranny I bet this is one pulling machine. I own a 99 2500 dodge cummins 4x4 but it's a slush box 325K
OMG ........ BS........ THAT'S NOT HOW YOU SHIFT A 10 SPEED..... YOU WENT FROM 3RD TO 5TH AND BACK TO 4TH WHILE BUILDING SPEED...... I DON'T THINK SOOOOO......... ALSO......... YOU HAVE AN AIR LINE FOR YOUR RANGE SELECTOR, BUT THERE IS NO AIR NOISE WHEN THE UPPER RANGE IS SELECTED.
Sweet 🏆! 10 & 13 speed Eaton-Fuller transmissions are virtually indestructible, million mile plus transmissions. Change the synthetic fluid every two years as recommended by Eaton warranties ( Mobil or Shell Synthetic Straight 50 gear oil) and this will be last transmission that you will ever need. The wet clutch and brake, as well as the rear helicoid gears on the synchronizer box do tear-up with dirty fluid.
