Amanda has a picture of the great late James Baldwin on her wall. That act alone shows a lot of what Amanda is about. No better footsteps she can follow than a courageous voice for justice like James Baldwin’s. I commend her.
Gods people are to be SET APART. Separate but equal is our birthright, which is why people think Black America was better during Jim Crow… but Jim Crow laws were never removed from the books, and we’re still rules by antiquated laws like “resisting arrest” and loitering laws. Hopefully Project 2025 restores separate but equal and maintains integration when it goes after birthright citizenship.

Amanda loves blackness but she doesn't necessarily love black people. I believe that to be a big part of the conflict many people have when it comes to getting behind her. When people aren't 100% in alignment with her beliefs, she treats them poorly. It's hard to work with that. People like that often end up standing alone and somehow don't understand why.

@@awardtour93 Of course. I agree. I’m not sure how recent her diagnosis is either. It’s not exactly “take this pill once a week and you’ll feel better” type of thing. She is afforded grace but learning on how to live with her new info about herself will take time to say the least.
As far as I understand, the difference between a leftist and a liberal is that a liberal is happy to work within our current system for their own personal gain ($$$). If you’re watching MLH I assume/hope you are interested in structural change at a minimum. ❤ Although I’m sure different definitions are out there, this is just what I’ve read about the most obvious difference.
Spot on. Liberals also give lip service to leftist/progressive causes, until they feel threatened that those causes will personally inconvenience them somehow. Which oftentimes those feelings of being threatened and are just them adopting a conservative mentality. Probably some unfounded nonsense about paying more taxes.

Biden is clearly an old man in cognitive decline. It's not bad, it's just the way it is, and we will all get there if we're lucky enough to live that long. What's terrible are those pushing him to run when he should be enjoying his life free of the stress that comes with the presidency. It's not good for the health of Biden or the country. It's actually cruel. If this were my grandfather, he would have his car keys taken from him and would not be allowed out of the house unsupervised. I have never seen such a demolition in a debate, ever. Mosab had authority of the history, the facts, both academically and from his own personal experience. And he brought it to bear with calm confidence. Marc Lamont Hill tried talking points, but they wither pretty fast in the daylight.
@mskeepinit1hundred The idea that you would roll him out on a gurney rather than see the situation for what it truly is and demand that your party put forth a worthy individual capable of leading on their own merits and not the merits, agendas, or ambitions of those around him. @@marclamonthillofficial My guess would be some type of stimulant, and I wouldn't say the goal would be to completely "mask" his mental decline, it would be to help get him through a 90-minute debate like I believe it helped get him through the State of the Union. You gotta admit the Biden that showed up to the SOTU was a completely different person than who's showed up before and since... what else could be the reason???
Mark ask him to get up from the chair without help, then and only then you should entertain his beliefs and until he can walk without rubbing thighs we can’t take him serious on athletes
