I like the "borrowed" purse that Copperfield used, although A) you need a little pre-show work and B) asking for the purse first rather undermines the gag that you're only doing what the tape is instructing. Still a great trick, I'm just being a perfectionist. Carl-Einer Hackner does the trick with a folded square, which avoids that problem but provides its own when you realize it basically *is* a bandana. Thus undermining the gimmick of not having one. I think if I were to do this trick now, assuming it fit my persona I'd wear a baseball hat and then hide it in the hat. You can even make the "squeeze it" step be putting the hat back on your head, which I guarantee an audience would love. It's not hard to gimmick and then just ditch the hat (or the compartment) afterwards.
My channel aired a 30 rock April fools marathon. The prank? They would show these credits halfway through, then continue with the episode. And I mean THESE credits.
I'm no expert on purses, but I don't think that was a purse that ever actually existed. Then when I saw Copperfield perform live not long after this the jig was up. During the performance, he did this same exact bit and just "happened" to "borrow" a purse from a woman in the audience, and it was the *_exact, same purse!_* He even did the same "Wow! You are *_organized!_* Did you get this on TV? ... K-tel?" schtick. He did it word for word. I was maybe 12 and I remember it hit me. "Okay. That's a setup."
I saw the ads that said feedback was going to be in this movie for a month. I was watching so attentively waiting for him to be in it and get invovled im the story. It was just a cameo and it was disappointing. But it was cool nonetheless. Still loved him and the show. Whatever movie they coupdve made focused on him wouldve been a trillion times better.

I thought his was cool anyway. Like they didn't give him his powers and he didn't have a big ass battle with the snake, but I happen to think getting to dress up as himself and hold a Giant ass snake off so a crowd of innocent people could get away is more heroic without powers than with.
