You cannot levee that much room besides the hip that will make the pushing harder. And the foot rests cannot be that much of the angle, it won’t be comfortable for a long time sitting
OMG - Now I know why so many people in the U.S. have such ill fitting inappropriate wheelchairs. Especially paraplegics !! I can't believe you said add 1-2 inches to the width measurement. Totally inappropriate as it leaves people swimming in their chair. As for the back height, you would only ever have the back that high if the person had a very high lesion. Unnecessarily high backs lead not only to bad posture and lessening of any available core, but hinder the users ability to function at their best in the chair. I realize this was 7 years ago, and I sincerely hope a lot of this has been revised. Speaking from 46 years of lived experience.
I couldn't able to type and drag computer mouse via my right hand . I've taken MRI scanning starting from my cervical to right wrist despite no new things have traced by the Dr's yet. So would u help me on such stuff ?
I had a surgery on my.forearm and they had to implant iron on my two forearm bones , i haven't got a therapy because of my work. Now my arm is already stiff and there's a limitation when i twist it. Will it still be healed?
"Popliteal fossa" ? "Axella" ? "Acromion process" ? "Olecranon process" ? While impressed with your mastery of Latin, I would have found plain old English or at least a translation, more helpful. No wonder your cat is crawling up the wall! Thanks, I sort of have the idea...
@@MrSayonara88 you know who are thirsty people, those who want to have sex with anything that moves. I, on the other hand asked if she was married 🤷♂️ not criminal offence 😆
That's so effective. It's such a good, quick-reminding video, summarizing one motion in many aspects, so kindly keep up that great work, and add more videos with the same technique. It's really helping, besides, so nice and light.
It's so important for caregivers to learn proper lifting and transferring techniques to avoid injury. This article provides some additional helpful tips: www.alliancehhcare.com/tip-avoid-injuries-while-caregiving/
my supinat motion only get half rom bcs when i was at elemtary school i got accident that make my lateral epicondyle got a bit of fracture, is it permanent or can be solved by strech the supinate muscle? please help it has been for 8 years
I'm suffering from forearm supination( can't rotate fully). Is there anyway to contact you? Email or contact number .so i can explain u detaily. Hope you will help me.
Sorry, but the person you are measuring is quite obviously completely able-bodied. You got them lying on their back with their legs in the air, then sitting on the side of a bench. Blimey, if I was that dexterous I wouldn't need the wheelchair in the first place
People need wheelchairs for all different reasons. Just because she can lay on her back and lift her legs does not prove that she is healthy or does not need a wheelchair.
@@elizabethann5308 Oh yes, I agree. But my point is this is certainly not a very good way of demonstrating how to measure someone for a wheelchair. People who need to be measure for wheelchairs are more than likely going to be using them a lot. If you need a wheelchair then you are not going to be able to be as dexterous as this young lady in the video . If you're going to demonstrate how to peel a potato then you have someone standing in their kitchen, not doing it whilst trying to abseil down a cliff at the same time.
Thanks for the reminder on grade 3 mobilization. I currently have a patient with recent FCR tendon lengthening surgery, who needs to increase supination. Excellent video and training tool. Thank you. BN, OTCHT
