Same situation is happening nationwide. People flock to FBM bc we dont want to pay a "broker fee" to someone that it's just there to show a house, there is NO value in brokerage. If you have a problem with the property this so called "broker" is NOT going to help you, so why do I have to pay them a fee just for them to show up?
You know dumb criminals used their real phone number and put their real name on the account and they got caught. That's why they make these videos, to help criminals feel more bold. It's like entrapment. It works, too. If you aren't a criminal then you don't have anything to worry about anyway. Upstanding people aren't scamming anyone, they're telling the truth.
Please be careful in Detroit. I worked in the city for decades and it is extremely dangerous. Two of my employees were shot by thugs on separate occasions. The people that wrecked these beautiful homes are animals. And then they whine about hot having any housing!
I think the first mistake is being in Detroit.... As a native, it's not ideal. Secondly, forgetting Rule 1 is a problem.... And maybe ALL OF THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM, like my god....
Don`t forget the Detroit land bank issue, they have screwed many a unsuspecting buyer as well. You will pay off all liens and taxes and bills with the structure, and they will seize it and sell it from under you. It is so bad that many local contractors refuse to work in Detroit at all.
I've lived in two states halfway across the country from each other. This exact thing has delayed my family from getting houses for years. It's actually quite common. Very fun.
It would be really nice if you could save all the door trim. And window train baseboards and restore it. And put it back in and then what is missing? Just replicate it. Also, those doors are really amazing. High quality, they're probably mahogany. Possibly oak. You could take those doors and have them dipped. Get a ball price and have them cleaned up. And then either stay in and varnish them again. Or paint them would save you a ton of money, especially if you're keeping the floor plans the same. It's always best to put back the original. Yes, it would take one time, but it's really worth it. And you could always convert those to kind of mediums in the future. But l VP is terrible. It's better to refinish. The hard wood will last a lifetime. Just some friendly advice on my fellow contractor and renovator
It's really a shame that all the original details are gone, wood Works baseboards, built -ins. Everything was stripped out of that building. It probably was a gem inside based off the exterior architecture
Holy Shit am i glad i live in Serbia. You people live horrid horrid crime filled lives. I cant remember the last time i felt threatened with crime like the only time i came close to it was during the migrant wave when they slept in the park and tried to mug people. Why do you not elect officials who will crack down on crime? Make it i dont know safe to not lock your door at night?
I’m not sure about this guy . He doesn’t know how t&g sub floor works . There’s no t&g on the four foot side . Id say wtf dose this guy know . Definitely not a carpenter!
@@SanbornConstructionGroup yeah I can tell how much time that you’ve been on the tools . You’re obviously clueless and just the money part of a flipping business.
I have seen the "phantom driveways", but the one he is using as an example does not appear to be one of them. It looks like it is either overgrown with grass and/or once lead to a garage/carport that is now gone but was part of the house just to the right of it.
This happened to me in Arlington Texas. Went to the house. Showed me around but when he sent me the link to apply and pay the money shi looked half assed as fuck. 💀
