All that woman did was release first draft voice memos for a couple songs which she has been doing since early in her career. "But why did she do it 4 weeks after her album was released" because she's been doing that for years. Artists don't drop an album and then stop promoting it. Her promotion rollout usually lasts 2-3 months. The fact that people lost their minds over voice memos and live performances might be the most stupid thing I've ever seen.
I was nerding out about the drumming in navigating too haha,, i dont even play drumset due to costs and zero room in my basement, but i've been in concert bands as a percussionist for 7 years and i absolutely do NOT have the hand strength for those hi hats. Had to watch the mv twice for that lore shock too.
I personally don’t mind if we only have this one new album because it’s incredible and their best album of all time. However what gets me is in the game at the start, the characters going in through a door that’s half blue half red and the characters exit out the same door too. And knowing the door imagery in hmhas makes me really consider the legitimacy of the possible second album.
Fr billie sounds to me like she was saying that casually, like if i was talking to my family about those things...They don't seem to be beefing (well, besides taylor then releasing all those things, but that is not important)...so why are we putting successful musicians, who worked hard to get where they are, against each other?

Hey Groovy Ghost, giving you props (and those points back from the Clancy Reaction, I docked from you 😂) for a killer review. This is far and away the best review I have seen. You touch on so many points I had feelings about but was not seeing discussed in other reviews. Like the call backs running through the lyrics or the MV to past songs. ‘Tape my eyes open’ check ☑️ (Routines/ Tear in my Heart) light in the eyes making him squint? ☑️(Midwest / Ride) Sahlo Folina ☑️ (Overcompensate/ Bandito)And way too many to mention. The mood of this album really shows us how he Tyler was feeling about SAI as he was writing this. His hurt/sadness/disappointment/little bit of anger(Im angry, I’m a little bit angry) really flows through so many of the tracks. The more I’ve listened to it, the more cohesive the album feels. Not for ending the lore but for telling us what he has been going through. I really appreciate this review. You put a lot of thought and care into this and it shows. Thank you 🫶🏻
Also, you need to take note of how Billie reacted to things. So immature and edgy. Would you care to research Billie's reaction after TS praised her during the Billboard Awards? You are being so one-sided!

She provided information and facts on both sides of why both were in the wrong/right. They did what they could with the evidence, so it was not one sided. So by a legal standpoint, your cries of “being one sided” is totally crazy. The bandito torchbearer is the only real torchbearer. The torchbearer has a power where he can project himself. So the torchbearer we see in Dema and Voldsoy are not real, just projections. So Clancy had been alone since the end of Levitate. Now in Navigating he has finally reunited with the banditos and the real torchbearer. Hence why we saw two Joshes in this video.
Paladin Strait is a lovely song (in the vein of Leave the City). I was definitely hoping for an epic battle song to bookend the heavy beat & awesome intro of Overcompensate. Hope we get more in an extended MV beyond the ‘Hello Clancy’. I agree (as someone above said) that it will be Clancy looking into the face of Nico/Blurry except that he himself will be reflected. As he is in fact comprised of all those characters. Based on the lyrics of Paladin I think at the very end of the battle all the Ned’s will be the ones waiting for Clancy /Tyler on the shores of Voldsoy when he makes it back from DEMA across the Strait. 🙅🏽♀️
it might be talking about the blurryface paint (tyler’s black neck and hands) but i always interpreted that line as his tattoos. all of them have personal meaning, some are religious. i always assumed it was him struggling with his religion, and wanting his tattoos to mean something again. but that’s just a personal interpretation.

Ok so, you asked why there are two Joshes and iirc, Tyler explained in the live stream that Torchbearer Josh has an ability to project himself elsewhere. So in Navigating, he wasn't physically with Tyler/Clancy, but he was projecting his form to guide him to his physical form. To "navigate" him, if you will XD It is SO freaking cool though to reference My Blood (um and Forest Fic?? Prolly not, but still haha) in the song/story. The easter eggs killllll meeeeee!!!! I'm super curious what else they might do with Torchbearer Josh's ability though!
so a couple of things. this could be talking about defeating blurryface, and getting rid of those negative feelings. but a couple times in the lyrics he brings up how he thinks he’s hurting his relationships with people. he thinks constantly losing progress will make people give up on him. (even though that isn’t true at all. ) in my own opinion, i interpreted this as if he feels he’s pushing people away, he ought to feel better on his own. if he has no support system left, he saying he ought to feel better so he doesn’t need them. but, that’s just my own thoughts.

Or… snap necks as in constantly changing up his flow/style/tempos in songs (giving people whiplash)and on albums as his way of snapping him out his bad thoughts/places/darkness. seeing the Navigating MV made me remember of something so obvious... before we got the my blood mv (which i always thought that was somehow connected to the story) what had happen? tyler was dragged back to Dema by Nico, alone. we never got any clue or any scene in a mv that showed us that Josh was captured too... even in the sai era, when the livestream happened, tyler is being interviewed by himself, after what happens in Levitate, we only see Josh when they're performing the music. So, it makes sense that Tyler/Clancy made this whole journey since then all alone and imagined josh there so he wouldn't feel so demotivated. literally what the boys said that this whole story is about... it's about saving yourself and being saved by a friend. and i just love this album so much... i don't believe it's the end but i also don't believe there's going to be a double album. maybe we'll see the final battle at the Paladin Strait's MV or even at the Clancy Tour
I also had to analyze a song for my final. I decided to pick backslide because I felt a deeper connection with that song. I learned a lot about the lyrics and analyzing the music video helped me understand the song a lot more. I wish I could have wrote more but we were limited to a few paragraphs.
I reazlied this last night. Jumsuit, Nico and the Niners, and Levitateare connected by music and visual..... Its the same for Overcompensate, Navigating and Next Semester. Jumsuit (track 1) video leads into Nico and the Niners (track 9) which then leads into Levitate (track 2). For Clancy, its Overcompensate (track 1) which leads into Navigating by the video, (track 9) which then by audio, leads into Next Semester (track 2) ITS THE SAMMMEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Track 1 to 9 to 2. Im super smart... I legit don't know why no one is talking about this
Good catch! And in the livestream they made a point of saying Navigating felt like a #9 song. And we know that the #9 features repeatedly in TØP music, especially the lore (9 bishops etc)

20:00 talking about hearing all the albums… I think that some songs really do lean one album more so, or vibe-wise. I actually really like SAI, but “fake fan” because I didn’t start listening to them until 2021. Granted, I love all the albums stylistically. Anyway, I feel like Midwest Indigo gives Shy Away vibes and The Craving made me think of Formidable. (Maybe it’s a melody) Overcompensate and Backslide felt more Blurryface-Trench. Some of it lyrically and stylistically even made me think of Vessel. Honestly, I think the more I listen to Clancy, the more I’ll fall in love with it. As for instrument bias, I’m a pianist, so I’m super bias to songs like Implicit Demand for Proof, Run + Go, Neon Gravestones, etc. But I also love electric guitar licks (which are also fun to play on piano), and I really want to learn electric. So I understand your huge bias to *your instruments*)
Did anyone though about this as a game of finding the album as in the ilomilo game? This might be just me overthinking it but what if her leaving clues in interviews and even the songs (like the phone number for example) might mean that there is a way to find the album that might be already somewhere online hidden?

I personally have a theory that there could be a Clancy (Red) and Clancy (Yellow) album. Red being a bad ending to Paladin Strait and Yellow is a good ending. (Red might even sound more like blurryface while Yellow sounds more like trench.)
