Excellent video as always, DMS! ( And hey - if you ever get tired of making nature videos, you could always start an ASMR channel here on RU-vid! You'd be great at that! 🙂)
@@artawhirlerHe listed off a bunch of deep sea creatures as part of his piece on deep ocean mining and then made a big deal out of gummy squirrels and I don't blame him, it's a great name for that critter 😂
Hi DMS! Very whimsical! People will naturally like the name gummy squirrel. But these are a naturally complex organisms. Thanks for sharing this video with the world ❤
Great video! "Gummy squirrels" are so cute with their sail-like tails and bright yellow color. The info about deep-sea mining impacting them is really concerning. Excellent content!
Nice content I wish you could’ve get more love from people cause of the effort you put into every videos! But I have a suggestion you should make RU-vid shorts . But anyways I hope you have a blessed day.
Greetings, again. I have a few ideas for new video Can you maybe research Gulf Corvina. Its native to the Sea of Cortes and it's a very important marine resource to the fishing communities of Sonora, Mexico. Also, it came close to being overfished and was put on the endangered species list. With conservation efforts the population and fishery recovered. Big fish too very popular with sport fisherman. "Gulf Corvina"
I’ve got more questions than answers watching this. How does it know a predator is near and which way to swim away from it? How does it know where food is?
I always love your videos! They're just the right length! I would never watch a 45 minute video about most of these creatures (though I once made an exception for an Oarfish documentary!) but I would watch a 3 minute video anytime! You have a great channel here, please keep up the great content! Oh, and also - Congratulations on 70,000 subscribers!! 🙂
Hi DMS! Thanks for sharing this video! I have never heard of this interesting 🦈 shark. So prized for something so small ( fin). I hope chef's fine some other ingredients as substitutes...so as not to endanger this beauty any further.
