I am the voice of an offended generation. The voice of those who are tired of bad cinema. Follow me as I champion those who would not follow the herd and take myself too seriously.
Curious of your take on "Better call Saul" and or "Breaking bad" love to hear your take. Character development in that show was pretty consistent. That show had more "chekovs guns" that would carry on for more than a whole season, it was satisfying.
I loved Better Call Saul for most of its run, I think the quality went down after Chuck was gone but it was the last season that let me down. Breaking bad of course is one of the greatest shows ever made. My favourite out of this kind of series has to be the Sopranos.
I didn't watch game of thrones in it's prime. I binge watched every episode a few weeks ago and every damn scene had me glued to the screen. Even season 8 had me entertained. I figured house of the dragon would be similar. No... it's not. I've watched every episode there is so far and I can't remember shit besides major events like when Vhagar bites the smaller dragon and Rhaenyras son in half midflight and Daemon executing the dude on the request of Oscar Tully but I can remember the most unimportant scenes from GOT like the scenes with Arya and Tywin at Harrenhal or Bronn and Tyrion's confusion at Podrick returning from the Brothel with all the gold Tyrion gave him for whores and needing details, copious amounts of details.
Steve Carell was such a dick in this movie by that’s why I love the role. He’s always a happy go lucky good guy that I enjoy seeing him play a character who is a valid piece of crap. This movie was a great watch and a awesome coming of age movie
The show always sucked after season 1. The writers don't understand the meaning of character development/consistency and why it's important. Clearly the direction of this show is based off of spite rather than passion.
Totally agree. I felt like Soldier Boy redeemed the show somewhat but they really went back on that. They definitely just wanted to put their politics into the show and damn the story.
The laziest character ever written for this show. She pretty much contributes nothing to the show other than sleeping with Black Noir and Deep that plays the racist victim card all throughout.
The fan base is extremely weird you say anything to criticize the show and all the sudden you're labeled a maga trump republican that just figured out the show is making fun of you...... which has left me beyond confused
Homelander became one of the many reasons why The Boys was great, To one of the VERY few decent things about it & a liability. No wonder why he's the most beloved and popular character of the series.
Well said! He’s the face of the franchise, of course hes going to be popular. Darth Vader is the face of Star Wars, but George Lucas never attacked the fans for enjoying that character
24:56 for goodness' sake, there are no stakes about Homelander going rogue. Just before Homelander threatens Starlight in the finale and she was in live, but guess nobody cares. It's almost like the show doesn't want to take the risk of Homelander being a maniac. It's just teasing, like 'he's gonna go crazy.'
It has sucked the whole time! Edit, I LOOOVED GOT so I really wanted to like this. The actors look weird too and its distracting. The writing is HORRIBLE! The births..ok we get it...people have babies. I dont need to see every birth in hi def
Actually it's not common for the other houses to commit mass atrocities like that. The lannisters under tywin were uniquely brutal compared to most houses. I thought it was perfectly reasonable for the other Riverlords to oppose what the blackwood did. And daemon killing willim was a step in him being somewhat diplomatic, but it would be an interesting choice for them to turn on daemon ultimately and fight for the greens
what would you have me do? = she muh queen i dunt whaan it Sara Hess = kathleen kennedy wheel spinning the show 3 eyed raven is the main character that controls all other since the Trag left for dragonstone character development stopped Daemon is right back to where he was at the end of season 1 nobody remembers or responds to what happened the day before
it's a weird feeling, seeing castrated female characters. The writers are holding the characters Rhanaera and Alicent back so much, and it makes them insipid and boring.
that scene of rhaenyra going to king's landing and begging alicent to stop so there's no war or what not was so unbelievably stupid😭😭😭😭😭the writers trying to make women into righteous too good for war people sucks so much.
The writing makes no sense. The scene where Aemond is trying to force Helaena to fight with Dreamfyre is so stupid. Helaena literally said “I won’t burn anyone.” So even if Aemond forced her to fly Dreamfyre into battle somehow. Dreamfyre is Helaena’s dragon so if she doesn’t command Dreamfyre burn people she won’t….I’m guessing Aemond was thinking that Dreamfyre would act on her own and attack the other dragons to protect Helaena but Helaena could still refuse to fight and just fly away. So what was the point of that scene?
*Me:* The kiss between Mysaria and Rhaenyra was an interesting writing choice. *Ryan Condom:* Actually we didn't write that, it was just the actors indulging. Yeah, it got weird, but they're lgbp's so it's fine. Arent lgbp's fine? *Me:* S-sure.. 😰 (wtf)
Deamon was so butchered in this season. Which is sad because he was your most compelling character. You turned him into a mushroom trip, ALL SEASON LONG
I didn't want to be the one to say it was hard to get through season 2. It wasn't that good. They slowed everything down. This entire season could have been done in 3 episodes
If we were in a relationship I'd never abuse you. We would watch shit movies and series all the time, so maybe that's abuse though. When are you reviewing Gen V and that awful animated Boys spinoff? I can sense you crave more of the franchise.
Hahaha i’m practically abusing myself already. I’ll review Gen V when the next season comes out for sure, thinking about watching the new Penguin show, see if thats any good
@@GenerationOffended I was surprisingly well entertained by Gen V, probably because they did at least a bit of making fun of them darn whippersnappers and zoomers. I mean all the main characters are more or less awful people, but why should it be any different from The Boys, right? If you want my very masculine opinion and are looking for a show, watch Justified or Longmire or both. But don't watch Justified City Primeval.
Gen V was definetly better than Season 4 of The Boys. I enjoyed it for the most part, the ending was strange and I was hoping they would explain more in The Boys but they never really touched on it. I'll add those two shows to my list of things to watch, I heard Justified was really good.
I think the moneys too good now, no one up top gives a single fuck about the quality just crank it out as fast as possible then watch the dollars pour in. No artistic vision, all just formulaic corporate bullshit. Anyone else over it? Lol
now to think of it it was shit from the that scene of rheaneyra and the white heart . like she was some kind of disney princess chosen to rule cuz of her ......
I simply hate this season and the show overall for varios reasons but the most important is that they desperately try to whitewash Rhaenyra. And still she is bad at EVERYTHING. Once again (my pet peeve): ALL her children are bastards, because in the show marriage to Daemon is illegal since her husband was/is ALIVE.
