I love watching your videos and spreads of project life - here on youtube and in the story classes. I recently watched around here and it seems, that you put your words from week 13 in the wrong week (with the right now 123 and betty) - so week 13 has words 🤭
I'm so on the same boat as you, Ali: my kids are grown and one out of the house, soon to be 2 in the Fall, and things are just different in my current PL album. I'm definitely approaching things way more loosely now than I ever have, and I've been doing PL since my oldest turned 8 (he's now 21!). Love your videos; it helps me to stay inspired and active in my photo-taking journey!
So glad to see you back sharing PL :) Question: how do you pare down what to put in each week? Trying to make the transition from every little detail of every little thing to more of a monthly overview in a few pages using the Stories by the Month kit…..
I honestly just focus on filling the pockets - once they are full I call that good - I know that no matter what I add I'm documenting something about my life! The add-in pages are from Story Kits or when I really want to include some more photos.
We have an HP inkjet printer, and I'm still learning what it can do. I tried printing on vellum, but I think there was too much ink used. Any tips? ~Janet in Canada
Are these photos off your phone and which printer do you use. You are so inspirational! Also, when adding words on photos are you using photoshop? Thanks!
Hi! I have a post about that here: aliedwards.com/2022/02/scrapbooking-basics-printing-photos-at-home. And yes - I use photoshop to add words to my photos!
I LOVE your Project Life! It's so inspiring with the inserts, the shapes within the pockets, the vellum, putting things outside the page protector! It's SO FUN!
Your mom’s albums are some of my favorite to see. I’m always reminded of how I just need to tell some stories and add some photos & my album will be a treasure. Thank you both for allowing us to share in seeing her albums.
Hm. It looks like this is a system for saving family/personal histories? I got her looking for tool for fiction writers. Maybe that's an opportunity for future projects.
Ali, so nice to see your mom’s December Daily; its beautiful! I really enjoyed seeing this as well as her other DD’s you’ve previously shared with us. It’s wonderful that she is documenting and preserving so many stories for you and your family. Thank you and your mom for sharing this with us! ❤
