Qhen u dont have a man to back u up.. thats shitty.. honesyly i live nicholas but the story here up to his accident is pretty damn annoying voth of them were.
This book and film were just showcasing extremely unhealthy connections built by trauma and exploiting each others needs. Their relationship was entirely toxic. Ew.
Love all the “poor sad lonely” little men who’ve had their hearts broke by women who won’t bow down to a man and are allowed to speak their mind and have their own thoughts and opinions. Sad that there are women commenting on here that she should’ve listened to her man bc he “told her”. So what? I think if this was a serious situation where she needed to listen to him she would. I am a very loud and expressive woman and yea I can admit there have been times that I almost ran my mouth and I have had to have my boyfriend tell me to let it go if I was going overboard. And yeah I will. But if it’s something serious that he understands I will not back down from then he knows to let me talk. I have not seen this movie so I can’t claim to know who’s interested he right or wrong. But I don’t think the guy standing should’ve called on the uniformed man like she is his pet or that the guy told her the way he did. She also did not need to push the conversation with the last comment for sure. I guess everyone is wrong.
I was always on team Cole they are literally so much better tg then jackie and Alex I feel like Alex was with her to get back at Cole and I think Cole actually was in love with her! I think Cole realized how jackie made him a better person and how when he looked at her he wanted to be a better person! And I just don't know if Alex felt that with her idk.... I js don't like alex😂
So if no one will explain. They are going to war i believe the next day and the ass who said get your girl previously said “ lets k*** some Arabs” Maybe not exactly but you get the point. So she was the only one to say something and he was embarrassed. Even tho theyre really only together for medical insurance for her and the extra money for him
You didn’t watch it, that guy was acting like an asshole, he literally was laughing and saying “lets kill some Arabs” and she’s arguing that it’s not ok to speak about people like that because there are so many innocent people too, he was acting like an asshole and deserved to be called out so be quiet
Okay I get that but the guy in uniform definitely came back from war and does not want to think of war of the people he’s killed I think it’s inconsiderate of both of them to openly talk about it because they have never Experience eat
This isn't my explanation, but basically the man that said "get your girl" said "let's k*ll some Arabs" because they were going to war a day after this happened. She was the only one that spoke up about it.
I feel like the people in this comment section need the context. The guy she was fighting with was saying somw really shitty things and she was callinv him out for it.
To my understanding it wasn't necessary to say more. I understand speak up and fight for the truth. In this case it's disrespectful and embarrassing to her man. According to comments and other scenes, saying more words to someone who thinks he's an bad ass and wanting to take life's. Her man has been to war and back. He knows about the trauma and lost. No need to be yelling at each other at the table. If her man wanted to say sh*t. He would of already said sh*t. So doing all that is embarrassing and disrespectful. This is my opinion and how I was raised. Hope that makes sense. 😊
The guy standing was getting deployed and was blowing off steam (understandable) but started saying he wanted to go I’ll some Muslims (not ok) and the girl called him out on it
