Sleeping with the Enemy was one of my favourite movies. He was a 💩!! 😂 Your peachy coloured tea towels looked fine, very autumnal. I love Dollar Tree, even our BnM, Home Bargains cannot compare to the super duper deals you get in the states. We are getting extremely ‘fall’ decorative though these days like our American friends. Xx
Love the vlog had cheritzo before but a bit too spicy for me, love the recipe i may add apple sausages to it instead, love the decor i have decorated up with pot pumpkins will put some outside, enjoyed the vlog very much. really feel for the people of Florida its awful i pray most are ok. xxx
Hey Lisa, your meal looked delish 😊 We are in FL on the east coast, and all is well in my immediate area. We had destructive and deadly tornadoes up and down our coast before the hurricane even hit 😢 A tornado touched down a few blocks from our daughter’s, she said it was horrific. I’m so thankful she and her boyfriend were alright. Praying of course for all those affected; it really has been terrible. As far as autumn goes, again, Floridian here, we don’t really have an autumn 😉 we do make chilis and soups when it gets cooler out. As for decorating…I’m really a stick in the mud about it. When we moved we gave away all our decorations, with exception to the very special ones. I just can’t be bothered now that the kids are grown and gone. I look forward to my kids decorating now. I enjoy all your videos, especially your DITL ones 😊

We try to get into same time zone as the UK when we arrive home and try to stay up to at least 9pm. I always sleep in as don’t find it easy to sleep on the plane so need to catch up on a missed night.
£89 may sound a lot - but just imagine what that lot would have cost at Waitrose! Speaking of which, I think Ade needs to explain in one of your chatty videos, what's so special about their t0ilet roll 😂 Have a fab weekend 😊

Lisa, please can u let me know what the French onion soup u bought is like !!! I’ve been in Spain recently for a month & for some reason I was absolutely craving French onion soup 🤣 Infact might try and attempt a homemade authentic one over the weekend I love looking at your meals literally my husband says they look exactly the same as mine. We are very similar in that department xxx
Orange tea towels for now. I’d like to know what you still have boxed in your garage and do you intend to unpack the boxes into your house. We are downsizing next year and I’m trying to declutter. Not easy as I don’t think I have any clutter lol but kids say I do. Thanks for a great video as always xxx

I love wearing an apron when I'm doing stuff around the house. I got one from the France Pavilion on my last trip in '22. Hoping to pick up another apron at WDW this coming trip. I am very much a recipe follower. Wish I had your skills but I don't 🙂 Good job on tackling that room. I have two post moving rooms of doom !!!
My advice would be to go to a athletics shop and pay more for a top quality ASICS, Hoka or New Balance. A good fitting pair of shoes is very important, if you're getting blisters your shoes don't fit correctly
Thanks, I think I just have super sensitive feet, I've always had blisters right from when I was a kid . Even Clarkes fitted shoes as a kid gave me blisters : (
I've struggled with skechers but my sister loves them. I've changed to Allbirds and I find they are my 'go to' sneakers (trainers in the UK). Birkenstocks don't suit me either. Not sure how much they would cost in the UK, they're not cheap in NZ but I find are well worth the money. Good luck finding great travel shoes...its a tough one. Love your videos. X
Lily is very sweet glad she has bonded with your mum we have a rescue dog he was 4 months old when we got him he will be one soon and has come a long way he was very nervous and hated going out but we are getting there with him. We deal with jetlag similar to what you are doing relaxing and sleeping if we need to it works for us xxxx
We have quite a drive home so book a day room and go and have 2/3 hours sleep before driving home and that really helps our jet lag. If we use a nearer airport we go home and have a sleep. I have never been able to “power through” until bedtime
After that full-on holiday, it sounds like you need another one 😁 I say leave the golden brown leaves on that plant - just say its the Autumnal look 😅 What a bargain for your hotel through the agents rate! Wobder if you'll get any other little extras. Have a fab week 😊
We have a room of doom. Unfortunately it’s in the basement and has been a mess for a while. Out of sight out of mind. Hahahahaha. You’ve inspired me to give that room a go. I hope SJ’s sweet puppy is ok. ❤
Thanks. It’s a double oven. I’ve always had a double oven but to be honest it’s mostly only used at Christmas. But I do use the oven & grill at the same time sometimes which I wouldn’t be able to do it was a single oven as they’d be combined. My sisters is like that and it makes me so happy that mine are separate x
Lisa, do you know that western North Carolina is demolished. Thank you for always being encouraging. Our community has all been trying to pull everything back together. Part of Asheville,Black mountain, Marion, part of Morganton there are still people in the wooden areas that can't get out.

I buy a few bags of sweets for the plane and then split them in two zippy bags ! I also took a packet of biscuits this time and I buy two bottles of water at the airport ! I’ve travelled all of my life and so I’m always organised !
Hi Lisa Great vlog. There is always so much to do in the last 24 hrs before the flight! I don’t like “wasting “ my work leave for a non-travel day but if I don’t I always end up regretting it ! Can I ask where you bought your suitcase ribbon from please?
We were in Destin, Florida, at a beach side condo. We drove out last Wed before Hurricane Helene hit. It followed us up to Atlanta and then on to North Carolina! Loved the beach the couple of days we were there!
My mum always had a clean home I also love my home clean I dust and vacume every day the only job I don't like is ironing but my husband quite likes it so win win
