The older I get the more I cherish alone time! I like quiet my hubby likes tv going all the time and a bit loud. We both work away from home but leave and return at the same time. I prefer to clean house alone. I’ve only had one week home alone in 23 years and there was a huge storm and the rain came through the ceiling in the kitchen. It was crazy and him being away made it worse! I tend to snack when I’m alone too. I’m glad and congratulations for choosing to be positive!!’👏👍

Glad that you managed to enjoy your week (and get lots of work done). I'm the same when my hubby goes away for work. It is funny how nice it is to do whatever you want when you want, without having to think of anyone else. Ade did a good job vlogging little clips. I try to get my hubby to do the same when he's away - some trips are more successful than others. German airports are lovely - I remember being super impressed when we visited Germany back in 2013.

I worked in Munich for a few years and the airport there is lovely - similar to Hamburg by the looks of it. I love the positivity chat. My sister died 2 weeks ago and im feeling sad all the time but I’m going to try and turn it round and be happy for the years I had with her. Xxx

i guess it is big thing to be away when you are always together, but i think sometimes you having time for yourselves also is good too. hope your having a wonderful holiday in Florida.i have been to Germany was only young at the time xxx

Watching this from sunny Spain ….we here for a while & u will be in Florida ! Hope u are all having a fab time …I love my hubby to bits but on the rare occasion he’s away I love having time to myself but my kids still live at home so that’s very rare I’m ever totally on my own !!!!!!

My late partner and I spent most of our time together and I cherish that. It's tough when you are apart but take comfort in knowing that he will be coming back.

If I want to spruce up my tea towels, I put them in a pan of water with washing powder/liquid and bring them to a boil and simmer for as long as it needs, for me, it really does the trick.

I love having time on my own. I had my own little routines when my husband was at work, did what I wanted, then he retired and everything changed! Like him being at home but gutted that I don’t get the time I used to 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

Iv heard say that using dishwasher tablet to wash stained pillows id fab ,so maybe try on your tea towels,i would soak them in a tablet then throw them and the water in the mashine on a hotish wash,let us know if it works 😂hope your wk went ok and the experience wasnt as bad as you expected Lizzie 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
