Hi Steve & co. I thoroughly enjoyed this video, done the broads a few times with my parents & then again in 2003 with my ex partner & kids, brought back great memories. I hope to see your next adventure, thanks from bonnie scotland 🏴
You’ll notice I’ve edited this…several times in fact. It’s my bad habit to add comments as I view. So, first comment…We’ll done with the sailing boats through Horning. You passed the tacking yacht just at the right time, just behind them as they turned. You’ve no idea how it can mess you up when on a sailing boat if someone cuts across you. Effectively, you stall. The curry in Coltishall. Was that from Ali Spice, and if so, would you recommend? Coo! Fancy getting onto Horning Staithe in the summer. That like the holy grail! I had to laugh at you nearly leaving a crew member behind. Though it’s more easily done than many would imagine. We almost left one of our sons behind on the Brooms fuel quay a few years ago, as his very elderly (memory impaired) Grandad distracted us by appearing to want to get off the boat just as we were leaving. My husband rushed to get a life jacket onto his Dad, meanwhile I was on the helm trying to leave the quay without the normal clear signal to get away. Things can go pear shaped so quickly.
Great video, although your image stabiliser effect when the camera was shaking left me feeling a tad sea-sick. Really enjoyed the gentle natural pace, hope you do another next time, thanks.
I've done Hardnott pass a couple of times at night and still plan to do a daytime trip in summer with my Saab convertible. I wouldn't have dreamed of using my big C6 until I saw this video.
