Tania McCartney adores books and words and pictures. If she could, she would live inside a book, and as an author, illustrator and editor-she kind of already does. An experienced magazine and book editor, she has over 1000 articles and reviews in print and online, and over 50 books in print or production.
The founder of Kids’ Book Review and The Happy Book children's book podcast, Tania’s passions include juvenile literacy, illustration and travel. Her books have won awards and shortlistings, and in November 2016, Australia Illustrated--her very first self-illustrated title, was released in Australia, NZ, the UK, the US and Canada. A junvenile literacy ambassador and champion, she is a current ambassador for the Chief Minister's Reading Challenge (Australia).
Tania has lived in China, France and England, and now lives just outside Canberra with a very nice husband, two marvellous kids, and a Himalayan mountain of books.
