I am obsessed with pop-up books and have a huge collection - so obsessed that I even took a course on making pop-ups with our local bookbinding association, haha! I believe I absolutely need Robert Sabuda's "The Little Mermaid." I have never seen such an insane pop-up! Also Carnaval Animal - I've also never seen a flip book with pop-ups. So many other beautiful choices as well. So many I can't even list them all! If you don't already know books by Lothar Meggendorfer, they're also worth a look for the intricate and subtle mechanics. I have one that has see-through panels on the reverse of each figure, so that you can see how they're made. I also liked your comment on buying more than one "for when the kids wreck it" because so very true. As the oldest child in my family, most of my childhood pop-up books were wrecked by my younger siblings. 😄
I can't remember the last time I saw a pop-up book. Some of these are quite impressive, especially 'Mommy'! Your enthusiasm for these gave me a big smile. Thanks for sharing =]
Your channel deserves more subscribers and all your videos are exquisite.. your videos deserve more views!! Your book collection is a product of decades of dedicated curation. Kudos to your work! Is it possible to do a video showing your entire book collection, maybe you book shelves? People like me would drool over it 😁. It would be like visiting Disneyland ❤️
