I got mine last week, and switched from a previous one. Outside of all tech, which made car smart, driving is much more pleasant. The car is more quiet. Space is bigger inside. Remote engine start. Massage in a driver seat. List goes on.
The new ICE coopers are the exact same size as the previous gen. The electric models are all new. F66 is just a refresh of the F56 and a pretty bland attempt in my opinion. My 21 is the exact same size and shape. Even shares most of the same sheet metal on the outside.
Glad I bought the 2023 model, this one has way too much cost cutting going on. No exhaust tips, no premium quilt leather interior, no steel pedals, no a/c + heat buttons and knobs...no thank you!
Great video thanks, best review of the screen functionality I’ve seen. I do have a question. Does the new Mini have auto engine stop when stationary at lights for example and can it be turned permanently off if it does have it? Thanks, looking forward to more videos from you, you explain things very well 👍
@markhoward3596 It has a manual shutoff for the Auto Start Stop. Under "Drivetrain and Chassis" menu. You can only shut it off once per trip or after 20 minutes or so it resets back. Go Kart Mode cures the function as well.
Great video, finally someone tells the true function of the new parking break / hand break.. but what do you think is the procedure when you’re parking on a hill, is pushing this button while parking on hill effects the gear box, or you think auto hold will do the trick to allow this button to double function as a parking break and a hand break as well… thanks again 🙏🏼
@Bianuni Thanks for asking! "Auto Hold" will never put the car's transmission in Park. The P button in this car puts the transmission in Park and activates the parking brake together. It will automatically slam gear into Park if the door is opened at low speed. It will also hold the car on a hill for 3 seconds before rolling back slowly. Also, if you turn the car off while in Drive or Reverse, it will engage Transmission in Park without activation of parking brake, and that can't be good to do daily for the transmission.
LTE stands for Long Term Evolution. It's a term used for the particular type of 4G that delivers a fast mobile Internet experience. You'll usually see it called 4G LTE (often found in the corner of your phone screen, where you see the classic service “bars”)
The invoice price on the I five is $70,000. The MSRP is 86,000 that $16,000 of wiggle room but do not expect to get more than 5K off sticker price but if you’re smart, you will demand off and tell them you already have that offer at another dealership.
To the person that is contemplating buying these cars if it’s not too late, I have owned both of them that I 5M 60 it’s just another level of superiority it might not handle as great on twisty turns is the I four but overall it’s a 10 out of 10. It’s nicer than my Porsche and the best part about it is you can pick up one for about 90 K to get a Porsche or a audi Benz with the same technology power and luxury you have to spend $150,000 all day long. It has four wheel steering up to 8°. It’s an impressive vehicle and when you hit that boob and your push 630 foot pounds of tour and zero to 60 and a few seconds more like three seconds by the way the E4 does the same here to 60 time because it’s lighter, but the five overall is a better car and my personal opinion having to own both
can we just not create any account, don't link any mobile device, cover the camera and still use the all car - as a regular object the cars used to be? I dont want my car be sending to BMW any information about the drivers or its occupants, where the car passed or anything at all.
I wish I saw this before I purchased my vehicle. I purchased my 2024 BMW X1 M35i for Christmas and I thought it was fully loaded until I drove it home only to realize it didn’t have those 3 buttons at the bottom of my mirror. I was told that BMW would release an in screen app for the garage opener after I inquired about it when I made it home. Then I was told it would not be released. I was livid. I’ve owned 4 other BMWs (X1 & X3) and all 4 came standard with this feature. Now, in 2024, BMWs don’t come standard with garage openers. This is a total ripoff and it’s disappointing. I just learned today that I can possibly have it retrofitted for about $1K but I would have just purchased a vehicle with a garage opener if I knew it didn’t come standard.
You know I never used to be interested in cars that much, up until recently 🙆🏼♂️I don’t know for some reason my interest in cars has been activated (I’m 19 now) I guess every dude has that in them Reason why I’ve become so interested is because my mother drives a BMW 118i M sport which is the version that was released I think 2 years ago It’s an automatic and MAN DO I LOVE DRIVING THAT CAR!!😭😭it’s a drug So now I wanna know everything there is to know about BMW and cars in general but more specifically BMW Never realized how powerful BMW is🔥🔥🔥 By the way it’s not confusing how you explained BUT it would’ve been nice to actually see you driving in each of these modes you explained I think that would’ve helped
