@@the_mad_leprechaun no not anymore.married a beautiful lrish woman and now living just outside Belfast ,and also subscribe to WGTV and that’s how found your channel which I’ll be looking forward to watching. Thanks 👍🇮🇲
Good video of a sad subject. We live in the Dordogne so not too far from Oradour 😢. I will be doing some more bike touring when the weather cools down a bit and wonder what camera equipment you use. Only need a helmet mounted device so I guess GoPro…thanks for any advice 🙏
Don’t get a GoPro!!! Everyone I have chatted to in my recent interview videos all agree including me! Don’t buy anything from GoPro! DJI action 4 is the way to go!! Glad you enjoyed my video. I hope to be over there again next year. I loved the area and would like to go back. Thank you for watching. Murt
@@the_mad_leprechaun Got it - thanks for the advice. Lets organise some rides around this region - its amazing. We have 5 double bedrooms plus secure garaging (?) for up to 8 bikes..; a bientot - Bolder Travel
Thank you very much Tony! Keep this up and I’ll get a big head. Much appreciated! If you want find The Mad Leprechaun page on Facebook I’ll send you some mad leprechaun stickers! 😁👍
I had a similar problem with my knee pockets and in fact they were in different positions on each leg. When I sit on the bike with the knee armour in it's lowest position, the knee armour sits on my upper leg and gives no protection to my knees at all. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I paid £149 for jeans I won't wear.
Hey fabulous video Murt - only just spotted it so will give it a shout out in my next "Bike News" - really enjoyed that and good to meet you at ABR! Thanks for taking the time to post this up....
@@the_mad_leprechaun I’m living in Innishannon, a small village in West Cork approx 20 minutes from Cork City. I have been a subscriber to Dave’s channel for a couple of years now. Great to see another Irish person posting videos. Are you based in Ireland?
@tonyflavin6958 I left Eire in 1987 hence my odd accent and Dave sounding more Irish than me! 😆 if I get over to Cork I hope you may show me some nice places!! 😁👍
hahahaha ! really enjoyed that Murt (and Dave cos i know you're a secret fan too ! if not you should be !), the Richie Vida question had me laughing, what a sport eh ! cheers bud.
I loved Dave's sculptures videos. You've done a great job on the interviews, all interesting people. I remember Dave singing on his own Christmas video; what a brilliant production. DJI all the way for us (the Action 3 and 4 will overheat in 40c heat, we found out in the Alps last year)
Thank you Richard. Yep for sure Dave is a top bloke, and so easy to chat to. Very knowledgeable about most things. Seems to be a pattern forming about GoPro V DJI!! Nice to know that your not alone. Take care 👍😁
Great couple of videos with Andy and Richie very jealous as would love to have a chat with these 2 as they have inspired my channel as well. Look forward to some more of your videos. Ride safe
@@midlifecrisis22 Thank you very much! Much appreciated it really was a pleasure chatting with the two of them. If you liked this you will enjoy next week. I am wheelie excited.?😁👍
Michael Dunlop flies his own plane mind you I don't know if I would get in to any form of transport with him. Imagine if he slipped in to TT mode while bringing you somewhere.
Excellent interview. TMF is a channel I've consistently watched right from his early RU-vid offerings. He's been generous to mention our channel on occasions and occasionally comments. He, out of all the RU-vid creators, understands the business element. You only need to look at his desk and garage, a very organised person. We probably should say a little congratulations to TMF's tea maker and other half Carole (with an e). Just passed her motorcycle test. Well done with the chat and perfect audio 👏
Could not have said it better myself. And was a pleasure to chat to and made me feel very welcome. Carol is a wonderful lady, and I’m so pleased that she has passed her motorcycle test. 😁👍🏍️
@@the_mad_leprechaun I’m sure we will, should be able to get to next Blakehouse bike night (week after next). Finally got the Guzzi up to running in miles (900) but not booked into Friday,so can’t ride till then.
Hi Steve. Please give them a call. I do know when I talked with them it was something that was going to be coming down the line. They should be able to clarify on the timeline. Hope that is some help. Please do let me know how you get on! I’m interested. Murt 👍
It is a cracking bike, I do feel Suzuki have missed a thing by not offering Cruise Control... but it can be added as an aftermarket thing, and I bet Suzuki will offer it as standard equipment on the next generation...
@@HippoDrones Hellooooooo! Yes nice to meet you too. Really enjoyed the weekend and meeting up with lots of new faces! Did you notice yourself in the video? 😁👍
Oh you remember!!! Long time since I have drank so much of anything! You can hear it in my voice in the Outro! Nice to meet you too buddy, hopefully I wasn’t too peed!! 😆
@@roadwarrior8560 hello and thank you for your visit to my little channel. Unfortunately no I have never tried the road 6. I choose the Mutant based on their looks. Honestly I love the tyre 2.5 k in and I don’t regret fitting them. Sorry I can’t be more help. Murt 😁👍
@@the_mad_leprechaun :) yeah all is good thanks, just getting ready for the Lightweight Adventure Festival and finally getting my semi offroad tyres fitted
@@dockerandy yeah I was lucky a biker found it and handed it in untouched, good to meet you too buddy and thanks both for making me feel welcome with me coming on my own.
That's one huge event. We've still, as yet, not attended. We're not massive fans of camping. Love it that you can try a range of bikes, but I don't think I would buy a KTM, just too many issues and problems. Seeing the bigger RU-vid channels on stage presenting, you can see that to be really successful, you need need to be outgoing and be able to present to a crowd (all stuff we find slightly scary 😂) Thanks for the look around
To be honest it’s probably the best motorcycle show in the UK now. It’s the only one all the manufacturers turn up to. So much to see and do. Yes easy to spend all your money. 😁👍
I must be doing something wrong it does not matter what tyre i put on my GS adventure i get roughley 8,000 km ,with the bridgstone a 41 4,000 km the front was ruined. Not sure what tyre to put on 80,20 or 90 ,10 tyre would be my choice. Perhaps the Metzler roadtec 2.
@@scootjockey all depends on how you ride the bike and if you’re always got luggage on! I’ve had the Dunlop’s on for about 2.5k now and love them! Thank you for your message 😆👍 Murt
How do you find the waist sizing? I always wear Levis, and usually a 38w 34leg (im 6ft 2), but some other jeans companies I have to go to a 40waist as they're a bit snug.
@@the_mad_leprechaun I got mine the other day, in 38/34, bit "baggy" compared to the image on the website, deffo though they'd be more of a slim fit, but none the less, extremely comfy!
@user-fh6ki9fi9v ok glad you are mostly happy! Sorry if you found anything I said misleading! I don’t find them overly baggy, however I’m 55 and sound not be wearing slim fit anything. Please do let me know how you get on. It’s important to me! 😁👍 Murt
@@the_mad_leprechaun Deffo not your fault, I had them in my basket before I found your video, I just watched your video to see other peoples thoughts. I'm 35 and also probably shouldn't be wearing anything skinny/slim fit.

I wish that blue was available in the usa. I do not like the steel green at all. I would have purchased if almost any other color than pea soup green. COLOR is important Suzuki!!
I am amazed that you can’t get the blue colour! 100% agree the blue colour looks great. What colours does it come in over with you? Thank you for your message much appreciated! Murt 😁👍
Some amazing custom and classic bikes on show. Love the CBX custom, apart from the headlight arrangement. England playing would be a good reason for me to be out looking at bikes. Love the enthusiasm of the colourful tea room lady
Nice review, and a nice bike. I got this over the RE, even though my off-road travels will be very short and very infrequent, because I loved it so much during my test of it. Your review and that of others informed me enough to accept the minor issues of cruise/tubed tyres etc, which don’t concern me, as this is my leisure bike. Thanks to you, and Colchester Suzuki for the vid! 😀🙏
You are very welcome. Thank you for visiting my channel much appreciated. The DE was a pleasure to ride. I just like to put a balance to my videos. I will pass on this message to Chelmsford City Suzuki! 😁👍
