how do you think this set sounds compared to gmk? I got a similar set (pbtfans klein blue) and it looks fantastic. I just have not got the board that im going to put it on so i want to know if it sounds good compared to gmk

Thanks brotha! I shot it in manual on ISO1000 with the kit lens maxed out on 45mm f/5.6. I did post on premier and basically just adjusted the color to make it contrast a little more, adjust the WB to make it a little cooler (since my desk light gives a rather warmer tone), together with bringing up the shadows to make somewhat of a 'faded film' effect. I love the clackiness of this board. It sounds just as boards used to be, unlike modern muffled mainstream sound with all those soulless foam filled boards. Honestly by the time the board was about to arrive I didn't care for it and was going to sell this thing. But the day it arrived I just couldn't let it go, it's too beautiful and camera doesn't do it any justice. Btw I love the deskmat!
@@pandakbo there are some really good cheaper boards around, stuff like geonworks frog is amazing for the money. Also I don't really condone scalping but if it's the only way for you to get cool stuff, consider hustling on mechmarket, just don't get too greedy and excited about it.
Exactly! Back when the Jelly released, I thought it was the pinnacle of board acoustics. Boy, I was wrong. It was way too easy to fall out of love to the "marbley" sound signature and I sold my jelly within a month of owning it. Not with this board, though. Ever since the jelly I've been finding a great clacky board without having any foam in it. And out of the dozens of boards I've tried along the way, I've finally found it!
I've been enjoying this keyboard a lot recently! It has seen more desk time than any of my other boards lol. I love the sound profile and how it feels with tactiles on CF. Although it is way too heavy, i think the weight is very crucial to its sound signature! Good luck on your next build!
Hey! The halfplate file is not with me, however, it is with PMX.GG if you're familiar with them. I only have the full plate file and had it customized by them :D
