@@eastcoastsurfer been on Crimden Dean and Horden beach this am, not much there also. Found a nice red at Seaham hall on the high tide line though. As you say we need the winter storms now.
I was there for 2 days during the middle of June this year. I must say,I was quite disappointed by how very little coloured ,and decent glass I could find,there were lots of clear,and some green pieces,but could only manage to find 2 small multis. It appears as if the multi coloured glass are almost depleted by all the thousands of pickers,and jewelry makers. Someone said that it's better to go early mornings during stormy weather,and in the winter when the sea is rough,and the tides are high,unfortunately I'm from a different country,so there won't be another opportunity.
@@hanafri8 yeah it’s really hard pickings at the moment but I’m sure when winter comes it will improve and your certainly right about how many people pick now,sorry your visit wasn’t as you had hoped but I think a lot of people are feeling the same way at the moment…where are you from?
It absolutely stinks how they are deliberately stopping people having a night out in Thier van car whatever it's sour grapes with the bloody councils they can't stand folk saving a couple quid we live near the airport at Brigg and see alot of air traffic
It’s absolutely killing the town financially too,obviously the people that make these clever decisions earn enough to stay in air BnB or hotels each time where the normal working class or retired folk just can’t afford to,money is a awful thing and the world would be a far nicer place if it didn’t exist but it always will as it has power and control in certain hands….have you been able to get there this year?
Have you ever thought about pipo surfing I will guarantee try it see how long the smile lasts But you have to remember wood is good have fun Evan on the smallest of waves I started about 20 years ago when the old knees gave up never looked back Hope you try it regards Rob

@@eastcoastsurfer yes agree, I seen this on the news last week and straight away thought of how it would impact on income. I wonder if they will move the resident tent dwellers also?
I didn't know what a tramper was,I often visit Scarborough and then go and see Anne bronte at St Mary's Church just apposite the castle,she has a beautiful resting place, and it's just nice to relax 😌 and remember, anyway thank you so much for taking time to walk around this special area for me 😊.
It’s funny watching you going around St Ives and getting lost-Im shouting go left go right…I’ve been going since the late 1960s me and my kids know the place like the back of our hand-One of my lads was down there last week and the other one is down there this week and we are going down this coming weekend .You’ve got yourself another subscriber I enjoyed the vid and you made me laugh 😂

We live at brigg about five miles from caistor were the couple that was worried about the parking at seaham till you put a video up unfortunately we haven't managed to get up there this year hubby had some minor health issues as did i we still get out at our local beaches were taking a trip to anlaby creek this weekend,nice to see you back we enjoy your videos

I've been there about 3 weeks ago ,about the middle of June,must say it was disappointing to say the least, I hardly found any multis, (that's what I was looking for), it is as if all the multi coloured seaglass have been picked up,or are nearly depleted since the last time (4 years ago) when I was also there. The pieces I did get were also much smaller. The green,white,brown ,and slag glass bits were plentifull,but I didn't look for that. Definitely less and smaller glass pieces.
Hey,sorry to hear your visit wasn’t as you had hoped,tbh I’m relatively new to it still but i definitely found my biggest pieces in winter,I surf a bit and think the big swells churn the bottom up so maybe try plan your next trip around a decent swell a day or 2 before if that’s possible…..there’s alot more people searching now to from what I can work out so less pieces get missed….hope you return and find some gems 🤞
@Kevinpanks You could be correct, mate, as I've never been to falling foss... just mallyan spout ... they could well be similar. Try the mallyan spout next time you're in that neck of the woods... you get to it via the Mallyan Hotel.
Dude ... sorry😂😂😂.. that green bottle bottom thing... slump glass.. it basically collapses cos its not cooled properly or something and ends up looking like that... some people collect it ❤
