Ahh. I have been missing my Oma (Lithuania) for a long time and the foods I use to enjoy including poppy seed strudel among other dishes like potato dumplings & Kugalis. I have tried to make the poppy seed strudel many times before but it is never the same. This looks like it IS the same! I will try this for sure! Thank you very much for sharing your recipe! I grow lavender, this darker one is real lavender augistifolia and the lighter one is a hybrid. Real lavender has less camphor and is used for cosmetic and food purposes. While the lavender hybrid is for bags

It's an absolutely perfect strudel! I don't know why there is so little view. I looked through so many recipes and this one is just ideal. Very thin bread and lots of moisture filling 🥧

@@rachelinselberg6119 when you sow a bag of lavender, buy 1 kg of rice and put up to half a bag, no more, so you can be sure. And the more lavender dried flowers the better…..a think is 2 cups
