As PhD students, it feels like we are not in control of the most important parts of our career: We are not in control of our data, we are not in control, if journals like our work and we are not in control, if we get cited.
The aim of this channel is to help you regain control of your career. We are not in control if people will cite us but we are in control of how many people see our publications, aka online marketing. We are not in control of our data but we are in control of how well we know the literature that led to our hypothesis.
Ultimately, the aim of this channel is to put you at ease about your career so that you actually get to enjoy your research.
How can I 'view' a reply? Without sixth sense I cannot work out the content of a reply without actually seeing it first. Do I need to 'follow' a business etc to see a reply?

I finished at the top of my class with a 3.98GPA DSc in 2017 after years of work and an extensive portfolio. I am the first in my family to get a doctorate so nobody understood my struggle. It is important that you live a life outside of academia, Surround yourself with people who understand your struggles. It has taken a lot of strength to admit I have some mental health issues.
