Instagram is better than Twitter. People can block you from viewing posts if they don’t like you saying someone is beautiful. Twitter should just add a feature where they turn off comments like RU-vid.
So helpful! It's hard to pin down why Instagram is so hard to use. I kept wondering if I was missing something. Your video confirmed a lot of my issues and was great at explaining them in detail. Interesting. So more friction for external links on IG. Also, IG is harder to communicate with your audience. IG is like an interactive Pinterest /Blog Board
I KNOW NO ONE IS GOING TO READ ALL THIS.. but I think IG is EASIER to grow on, (especially if your creative or have aesthetic photos) it's all about getting ❤s, so what i do is if i see a post I LIKE (specifically in Recents) I give it a ♥️ or comment & go to their prof & see if I like a few more, so maybe gain interaction with them if they're interested in the same things I am (possibly) - whereas Twitter (apparently) in the long run will help you grow your content better & is all-around better for "networking" or reaching out to your niche but only AFTER you figure out its algorithm. But what do Ik, i only have like 3 followers on Twitter 🤷♂️ Edit: practicality is also a big one. Ik the big thing about social media all platforms is to post about YOU and what YOU can offer people. When you hide behind (in my experience) gameplay or a logo, its harder for people to see what you're about. Which is a downfall for me. My personal life that isn't interesting enough for me to snap a selfie and post it. (Also I take horrible "dad" selfies 🤓)
Awesome! I am glad that it was helpful. I used to focus on Instagram in the beginning because this is what everyone did and only when I focused on what I wanted to achieve by using social media did I realise that Twitter is much better for me. Which platform did you settle on?
I have wanted to be on twitter so much because I prefer to write but I just notice I dont get much of a interaction from twitter like instagram. And I become uneasy when I see someone with like a million followers on twitter but with only like 300 likes. I have a hard time seeing where twitter is a platform worth growing on. Can someone elaborate about this more? I am not saying it to put twitter down, I say this because I genuinly wish to understand this phenomenon a little bit more because maybe I'm just ignorant and need to get a little bit more educated from a kind hearted soul😀

More people are posting on Twitter as opposed to Instagram. Think about that! Plus the conversion rate is larger than Instagram. The audience can't interact much with a plain photo on Instagram. Plus, you can't post quality content on Instagram like Facebook and Twitter, not to mention like RU-vid! Instagram is visual content and Twitter is quality content! PERIOD. That's the difference between the two platforms.
