Back in like 2005 when i did my first swap, we drained the oil in my 91 CRX D series. Dumoed a 5 Gal pail of water in the engine. Put a brick on the pedal and let her rip. We started pouring cups of sand into the head. That thing bounced off the rev limited for 10-15 minutes and finally just slowed to a stop and we were like..."thats it?" Lol Anyway, pulled the motor cause we thought it seized. Turned out it ran out of gas and the motor still turned over and wasnt dead yet.
@@underestimatedgarage They're great motors for their day. Everyone was running a POS ebay turbo setup. Make 350whp all day until it blows up after a few months, Buy another from a junk yard for $100 and swap it back in over a weekend. Having fun was way cheaper 20 years ago lol
